scattered shower zone. we can dial it in closer and closer as we get there. but this far out you have to give it a broad brush. friday afternoon, a few scattered showers still lingering. to dial those in will take a little bit of time. these are forecast highs for tomorrow. warmer than today. we have some low 80s thursday about like this but with increasing clouds. friday we get into it. here's the friday forecast. nothing i hate worse than seems like about every other halloween we get rain. >> i know, i know. >> i hate that because not only is it a bummer for the kids but then i worry about the safety. it's dark, it's slippery it's masks. so we'll watch it tomorrow night we'll have it dialed down a little tighter for you. >> game seven weather tomorrow. >> outstanding. couldn't beat it. as good as it gets. joe is here now. it all comes down to tomorrow night. it was a tough one tonight. >> let's look at this thing

again. it's been a season when giants have answered the bell whenever called upon. sometimes when the circumstances are highly unlikely. the latest challenge in 2014, win a seventh and deciding game. folks in kauffman stadium revved up hoping to see their team stay alive in an elimination game. they got what they wanted early after working out of a jam. peavy could not escape a second. just out of the reach of brandon belt. that brings alex gordon around to score. it's 1-0. the royals just getting started. peavy was replaced by pettitte. no one wearing the ball out but that hardly mattered to kansas city which scored two more. hosmer pounds one off the dirt. the ball bounces over brandon crawford. not only did two more runs score, hosmer goes into second with one of the strangest doubles you will ever see. nothing strange about this one.
10:52 pm
butler gets into a pettitte pitch. you had the feeling there would be no champane for the giants on this evening. kansas city goes on to win 10-0 evening the sering at two a piece and bringing on the seventh game. and bringing in mark, you and i watched two games. any reason tomorrow night will be any different? >> no, absolutely not. although i did say on the pregame show that i thought there were a lot less festivities and celebrity watching was out the window. it was really down to business. really serious attitude. i always remember you and i joe talking after the game on sunday night. and someone was asking us about who do you think is going to be the mvp you were adamant like lets not get carried away.
10:53 pm
we're a long way away from thinking about an mvp and right now the giants would just like a victory. they don't care about it. but should they come out victorious. man you have to say, hunter pence, madison baumgartner could be comvps for the san francisco giants. he did have one of the san francisco six hits shut down the right field line. he wound up with a double, did not score. but he did extend his hitting streak in the world series dating back to 2012 to nine straight games and that ties him with derek jeter of the new york yankees. hunter pence as always glass half full. he's already thinking about the excitement of playing in a game seven. >> sometimes in the game of baseball, it seemed like it was their night whatever. especially that inning they had choppers and bloopers. those things happen it's the game of baseball. it's competing. you just continue to get out there and grind.
10:54 pm
like i said tonight was their night. a game seven in the world series is a gift for everyone. it's pretty special. >> i think it's like incredibly entertaining for the fans, incredibly entertaining for the world, for the game of baseball. it's incredibly fun to play and compete in. >> he is the real deal. a very authentic guy and looking forward to game seven. and jeremy guthrie sanford man going for the royals against tim hudson for the san francisco giants. we'll have it all for you before the game and after. no matter what. who will be the last team standing? i'm mark ibanez at the k in kansas city. back to you joe. >> we'll look forward to seeing you again tomorrow. a little more business to wrap up as this forecast continues, we'll be right back.

10:57 pm
the sharks in denver tonight. the sharks get their time, justin bradshaw hits the post, but right back to couture. they head to a shoot out. marleau has scored on his attempt then joe pavelski gets his. they turn the two avalanche attempts to win their second in a row. do you realize the nba season starts for the warriors tomorrow night. >> really it does.
10:58 pm
good stuff. i'm sure we'll all be riding on that season. >> stay tuned. we're going to keep the world series talk going over on tv 36. see you there in a minute.

what's with all the yogurt? shh! durkas has been breaking into my locker. ohh. but i've got a little revenge planned. sorry. i just remembered i don't really care. (taps key) where's mom? oh, my god, what is that outfit? are you going goth? you still sleep with a stuffed panda. don't you have a fraternity to pass out in? is there anything else you need for your procedure? um, i think i'm supposed to have ice cream. hmm. actually, i don't-- i'm sorry. is it a vasecto-you, or a vasectomy? you can have ice cream. thanks. today... (laughs) snip-a-dee-doo-dah! (chuckles) we-we've been talking about doing this for a while. yeah. yeah, ever since dad and gloria had their little accident, we don't need any surprises. also, though, it will allow for a little more freestylin' in the boudoir if we're not having to worry about adding more critters.
