people that have been killed, it may have been teenage girls kron four's jack moment spent the afternoon in the neighborhood and has this story. >> well, it wasn't too long ago that this peaceful street riverview drive was crowded with dozens of cop cars responding to a shooting in which 2 people were shot and killed. one here on the scene and one later at the hospital. not neighbors say despite the shooting taking place, they want to put it out there that this is a safe neighborhood and that they've never seen anything like this for me is safe place to with her granddaughter's by her side of the park on sunday. >> guadalupe monzo says this is a safe place. she said, though she shocked that this happened not even just a day ago. mike is not alike. a place to sue. this things happen get surprised i find out about police say the shooting happened around 8 in the evening saturday. they found 2 victims there. the potential shooter, nowhere in and we lost 2 young, you know,

people frankford ellis says he heard the gunshots says that 2 people who died were teenage girls. i just know that they're from the area from that book. and their lives were cut short. >> i'm a friend of mine. knew the father of the child. >> amber kempton, another neighbor right beside her flowers, rest in peace. sasha. >> i mean, it's heartbreaking. honestly, it was my child. i would i don't even know. words can >> more neighbors tell us the 2 teens were local and at least one of them was a high schooler is the whole block was just that i will let you know, blue red or tease was just feet from the shooting and says it's still a shock with little answers and a potential gunman still on the loose? well, it's pretty crazy. the stuff like that. and we have been around here. you know, it's a pretty >> pretty calm area. i mean, i've been here 2 years and i've never really seen stuff like that. >> despite many of the neighbors here telling us that they've heard that these 2

people who died were teenage girls. they say have no idea who the shooter is. now, when i reached out to napa police over what happened here, they say they can't tell us any information related to the ongoing investigation, but they did say we could expect to see some information in the coming day or 2. for now, we're in napa, jack moment. kron 4 news. >> overnight, chaos in oakland has several sideshows take over city streets. video showing cars spinning out and intersections fireworks being shot into the air and huge crowds circling around. at 1.0, 2 cars were seen their engulfed in flames. oakland police say the sideshows broke out on claremont avenue and college avenue alcatraz avenue and telegraph avenue andnderby avenue and mandela parkway video also showing officers setting up a road block right here. one of those sideshow at one of those sideshows and a person driving a white infiniti forcing their way through the line of police

cruisers. that's in the previous clip of video. police officers say that they detained multiple people. investigations are ongoing. a 30 year-old man is dead following a crash in antioch this afternoon. police say the man was driving in the north lanes of the auto center drive at a high rate of speed when it crashed into another car just after 04:00pm. the driver t-boned a lexus suv. after entering the 6th, the intersection at west 10 p died at the scene. 2 women in the lexus were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive. police are asking anyone who may have seen this to contact them. they say the investigation is ongoing. to san francisco county jails are on lockdown this weekend. the san francisco sheriff says sheriff's office says this follows a number of inmate attacks and deputy on deputies, another jail staff, the union that represents the deputies is demanding the immediate deployment of the california national guard. the lockdowns are happening at county jails 2, 3, the union

says the jails are dealing with staffing shortages in issues with security. the sheriff's office says 7 staff members have been injured by inmates since march. 29th. not in marin county where fire crews rescue 6 adults and one child after a boat capsized and to all as bay yesterday afternoon, firefighters say a boater was able to call them for help when they arrived, the passengers were clinging to the overturned boat. all passengers suffered from cold exposure and were evaluated by paramedics. all right. let's take a live look right now at the golden gate bridge. seems like it's a little bit of a drier night out there cooler as long. joining us a look at the forecast again. >> hello, you'll notice the chill in the air because we are going to see clear skies for most of us really. and without that cloud cover gets too cold out there. but we will be warming up. that will be the weather story of the weekend the next few days and a longer range forecast as well. here's some rain totals.

the santa cruz mountains and ben lowman picked over 2 inches of rain. everyone over half an inch and half moon bay and places like san francisco, santa rosa, oakland and san jose. just under half an inch of rain. so some beneficial rain here. our season here in the spring and that activity is now moving out of our region. and we will be now we're being at the high pressure will be taking over this week and that will bring us a nice, sunny skies and warm days ahead for days actually until for much of the week. but right now temperatures are on the chilly side. so upper 40's and santa rosa expected to go down to the low 40's low 50's around the bay area. and 55 degrees right now in san jose. but you can see we are warming up 10 degrees up in fairfield this time yesterday and wind speeds have calmed down. i know it's been pretty breezy this weekend, but that is all going to change a visibility, though. so for your morning drive in the east bay, oakland, in livermore, you may

is from a previous port protest. we're going to keep you updated on as it happens. be sure to stay with kron. 4 news. let's go to the east bay now where a swimming and running specialty stores going to be closing for good after more than 40 years in business in oakland transports posting this on our website. they say after 42 years are going to be closing up in the coming months. the owners adding a messe thanking the community for getting them through fires, earthquakes and the pandemic. in the south bay, san jose residents are urging the santa clara county board of supervisors to keep the regional medical trauma center open. city officials are going to be joining the community to take action against the closure. the hospital's trauma center is a level 2, meaning they burn victim a treat from burn victims and stroke victims, heart attack victims back in february, regional medical center announced that they would be closing because of a decline in patients. the emergency room, though, is going to remain open. the board will vote on what the future looks like on tuesday.

the man arrested after being accused of hiding a camera in a starbucks bathroom is going to go into court tomorrow. police say 35 year-old luis suarez junior planted the camera at a location off of west taylor street and coleman avenue. officials say the employee at a starbucks notice there was a hidden camera on january 31st. under bathroom sink, they called 9-1-1. reported it by then the video video had already been record of 91 people, including children as young as 4 years old. we're going bring you an update on what happens in court tomorrow on kron 4. well, the warriors are looking ahead to the playoffs after beating utah jazz in their last regular season game today. the team also honoring a father and son from palais after that son died unexpectedly at a game 8 years ago. kron 4 sarah stinson reports. >> the warriors gave one fan the biggest gift of all by

winning the last game of the regular season on his birthday, this win means even more to david nunez. he shares his birthday with his son who sadly died at a game back in 2016. he attended this game in his honor. >> dubnation packed into chase center sunday afternoon for the last regular season game against utah. >> david nunez got surprise with a jersey from the warriors while so liberating his 70th birthday at the game in vallejo, nunez raised his 2 children to be dedicated dubs fans. we've loved the warriors. >> forever. and i bottom up. >> to be warrior fans. but in 2016 tragedy struck the family while in a playoff game at oracle arena, new news, his son justin suddenly passed away. justin was just 35 years old. collapsed. >> up the stairs, had it. pulmonary embolism and that can resuscitate him and

>> i watched him die. despite the pain, nunez continues to go to games. he says it's what his son would have wanted. i still come to games in his honor, not bringing his son. his son and i went to oracle on the last game at oracle first game here, chase a preseason game. my and i got nunez says he's grateful for the warriors who have been supportive ever since that fateful their special to us. they really treat us well. new year's is hoping his dubs can keep it going on the court as well. but we have to wind when keep going and you know, i think we can do it. we have the squad. >> most wars fans are feeling the same way. i have faith. they can take it all the way. we'll have to see how they play versus the kean's. the wars play against the kings on tuesday in sacramento. this is a win or go home situation. it's sure to be a nail-biter

crews in oakland working to put out a garage fire. they say started from a lithium

battery combustion. they say the blaze sparked in the corner of east 21st to 19th avenues around 1 o'clock. firefighters say the heavy fire started in the garage of a 2 story building but was luckily contained before it grew. no injuries were reported. some interesting video here from a firefighter's helmet showing crews battling a house fire in san leandro. alameda county firefighters say they were able to put out this fire on fleming street in about 45 minutes. still no word on what caused the fire. but unfortunately, 2 families are now displaced. all right. let's get you a check. your 4 zone forecast tonight. taking a live look outside at the san mateo bridge. looks like a nice ride out there and a dry one as well. yeah, long giving us a look at the forecast again. >> we are dry out and we are clearing out. so it is a bit chilly out there tonight. but this week we will be warming up for that is that weather headline and the weather story for this week of sunshine. and

we also have 80's in the forecast of the back end of the week. so we have a partial clearing and then partly cloudy skies with mild temperatures will start off on the mild side tomorrow and then by the end of the week, that's when notice things will get warmer. so we're saying goodbye to the rain and hello to sunshine. so here's the future cast model notice. we're mostly clear the 06:00am hour with the exception of livermore san jose. so your visibility, you may run into some clouds and some fog over there for your morning drive to just keep that in mind. things should clear out by the late morning and afternoon. but then we get another round of clouds around the lunchtime with a mix of some sun as well, popping out there. and then by the evening, you're at his more clear skies and into tuesday. so that will be the trend coming up this week. something we've all been looking forward to. it has been feeling like winter lately. so low pressure is out of here. we say bye-bye to the rain and hello to the sun and warm and dry conditions. so

conch you are actually going to be one of the warmest cities this week. so you'll notice by tuesday, wednesday, you'll be in the upper 70's and by thursday, it looks like you may see some 80's in the forecast. overnight. lows will still be chilly tonight. so low 40's for you in santa rosa and livermore, upper 40's and san jose mid-forties along the coast here. upper 40's in san francisco. daytime highs will be mild in low 60's upper 50's along the coast. but but as you make your way inland, that's when you'll notice the warmer temperatures and you can just see how warm it will be getting. we start off in the mid 70's tuesday and then starts to get into the 80's inland and of 60's and 70's by the bay and coast coast will be more in the 60's. but, you know, when it's like warm inland, it's always a really nice day in the coast. yeah, certainly. i mean, especially with this nice. >> stretch of sunny hot, warm
