back to the kron 4 morning news. i'm reyna harvey. we have to get another check of weather with john shrable. >> for many reasons. one because johnny always have the best forecast. but to the weekend is here and we need to know what we can do. >> yeah. we're getting spoiled lately rain asked whether has definitely not been uncomfortable. we looked at a really warm finish to last week. mild conditions all week long this weekend. this weekend is going to be bringing more of the same high temperatures a little bit warmer than this week has been that she's going to take us into the mid 70's. really beautiful weather to look forward to looking outside this morning. at our tower cam. a bit of a cloudy view at it just because some of those low clouds are making for a misty perspective from right there. top tower. otherwise visibility is great. you are
4:45 am
holding on to really clear skies across the bay area. as you make your drive into work. high pressure is only going to build in further and further this weekend. this is going to allow temperatures. that chance to climb a bit well into the mid 70's windy conditions at the coastline today, though, we'll do just the opposite whereas yesterday, tomorrow and sunday will be some are warmer days of this forecast today we take a little dip and that's an increase in coastal winds that's going to push some of this marine cool. there right in across the bay. so friday a bit more on the brisk side, kind of a light jacket long sleeve shirt kind of weather before we make your way to the t-shirt and shorts staff into saturday and sunday futurecast shows dry skies well into the afternoon. today more that into tomorrow. more that the sunday and well into next week, too. so that pattern is not changing as we work our way well into mid april, just around the corner 50's 60's for your high temperatures, whether you're at the coast or right along the peninsula. daytime highs today will be right on par with or seasonal
4:46 am
averages and jacket where the for these areas, the further away from the coast. you get you start to see temperatures a little bit warmer. we're still going to have the coastal influence but daytime highs will have that chance to get a bit closer to 70 degrees if not actually 2.70 in areas like concord right at 70 degrees today. meantime, oakland and berkeley in the 60's at 63 fairfield in antioch at 72 each while santa rosa at a nice cool. 71 tomorrow's temperatures a bit warmer and sunday will be even warmer yet with highs in the mid to upper 70's for the finish to the weekend on sunday skies remain clear and dry all the way through this forecast with temperatures just a little bit above average. this weekend and no chances of much needed rain reyna john, thank you for that. it's a great forecast. let's hope that our commute can stay. >> friday line as you head into the city right now. again, look at the bay bridge not tracking any major accidents under 10 minutes free to make it to that fremont street exit. if you have to leave early. so we have no delays there also
4:47 am
getting a look at the golden gate bridge heading into the not seen any fog advisories. so conditions very clear. no construction from overnight on the bridge and also checking out the richmond sandra fell bridge to leave you with that heading out of richmond across the sandra fell to take about 9 minutes or so to do that, we'll have more coming up next. for now, back to the news. a compelling testimony from a medical expert has a derek chauvin murder trial entered its 9th day yesterday. the doctor on the stand testified that george floyd had no chance to read while he was on the ground a warning some of the video is very difficult to watch. janelle forte has the very latest. >> the prosecution called 3 medical experts to the stand a concentrated effort to debunk the defense's claims that floyd died from drug use and other health issues and not the direct resulthof former minneapolis police officer derek chauvin's actions where for the first pulmonologist
