11:00 a.m. on friday with this resident on this apartment complex called police to report suspicious activity among a group of people. police tell kron 4 that when the police are right and responded to the call one person, the suspect started fighting with the officer and grabbed the officer's gun. a spokesperson with the police to park and explains. >> several shots for fired. during the struggle the suspect was able to get the fire arm away. fed suspect continued to run down the avenue. two different officers responded and saw the suspects. and teaches that suspect and they fired on the suspect the initial officers--got into the car. without his pistol and was in apprehending and searching for the suspect. >> reporter: the officer and the suspects were taken to hospital. no word on what charges the

jumped down under the table. i noticed that i was already leaking blood from my jacket. i covered my head. he was still shooting. and i covered my head. there was still blood coming out of my wound down my face. >> reporter: one of the relatives was killed the 45 year-old plans to return to work as soon as his arm is feeling better. this gentleman that just spoke lost a relative also worked for the which shot by shareef allman >>catherine: a confrontation at one. the officer's gun was craft. they're responding to a call. the gun went off--. at the intersection of san jose and leigh ave. a neighbor called from an apartment complex reporting suspicious activity.
