11:00 a.m. on friday with this resident on this apartment complex called police to report suspicious activity among a group of people. police tell kron 4 that when the police are right and responded to the call one person, the suspect started fighting with the officer and grabbed the officer's gun. a spokesperson with the police to park and explains. >> several shots for fired. during the struggle the suspect was able to get the fire arm away. fed suspect continued to run down the avenue. two different officers responded and saw the suspects. and teaches that suspect and they fired on the suspect the initial officers--got into the car. without his pistol and was in apprehending and searching for the suspect. >> reporter: the officer and the suspects were taken to hospital. no word on what charges the

suspect will charge for the assault on the police. >>catherine: the man wanted in the world district has been arrested at the police search that began after that man crashed his car. the five the 0 freeway. near the 38 ramp the 5-80 freeway. it started out near the mccarthy boulevard bank of america. this woman just completed a transaction at that atm. however this woman who is an employee fromm's --ace hardware. i was told by the woman that if she would cooperate to would not shoot her. however, she did cooperate and was still shooting. he shot
