live this is kron 4 news @ 4:00 with a developing story. developing story out of oakland right now after person was shot and killed the son of a church in oakland. it happened here at the allen temple baptist church at the 1300 block of 85th ave. kron 4 jonathan blum is live at the scene with the latest. johnson. >> please of looking for the suspects they do have leads we've also learned the victim was a 46 year-old man who was studying for his ged inside the church here. it happened just before noon about 11:45 p.m. the victim came of the church was shot and proceeded to slump over the cinderblocks at the base

of the cross. we'll show you did you of what the scene looked like earlier as pleas on scene were investigating this tragic incident. the man did die at the scene and police are looking for the people who shot him and got away in a car. police are not releasing the name of the victim at this time because are trying to contact the victim's family. they say they do have leads on the suspect but more than that they see this as a brazen crime. something that was perpetrated in front of a church that has really been a pillar of the east community. >> it's concerning that we have a homicide takes place to furniture to specially this church that's been in this community for a long time it is of very positive part of the community. >> police are still looking around the area trying to find the suspect and suspect vehicle. they're not giving us a whole lot of details about the victim once again but they do say they are hot on the trail of those people who shot him. it has to come

morning investigators say the gunman killed two men shot a woman before walking to the police department where he broke several windows. officers at the department taste and arrested the suspect and they believe the victims did know their attacker. three people rested after an overnight robbery lead to a high-speed chase. it started on james street and sent a clear avenue in oakland and continued halfway across the bay bridge. police say the suspects tried out on them by turning around a treasure island. that's were the highway patrol joined the pursuit as the suspects drove back to oakland. the chase ended on the 2400 block of highland ave. oakland police believe the suspects may be responsible for as many as eight armed robberies across several neighborhoods reaching from lake merritt to the city's diamond district. a look at the stock market value of stocks took a big hit today falling to their lowest level in a month. here's a look at the numbers the dow
