from cbs news bay area , this is the morning edition. there was a lot of that last night at chase center where the dub nation had the backs against the wall but they are cruising into victory against the kings and how the warriors are feeling this morning. >> all i can say it is sad and upsetting an abomination to the baseball gods. >> it still hurts is we get reaction to the a's moving to las vegas and hear the heartbreak from faithful fans as reality begins to that in. >> a lot of a's fans not happy

runners it's a gorgeous weekend throughout the bay area as we wake up with 40s and 50s. very mild with official sunrise just around the corner. it will be gorgeous. throughout the bay area starting out mild. san jose at 51. this afternoon low 50s will quickly turn up into 70s to low 80s. this is for concord. even in the santa clara valley very similar weather based on the microclimate. the east bay for the next seven days warming up even more. we turn up the notch on the temperatures into next week. daytime highs inland low 80s in the bay. it will cool off a little bit next workweek but we cannot complain with upper 80s in the forecast, especially with the outdoor activities happening in the area. the warmest spots as early as mid next week with plenty of sunshine to go round, and planning a beautiful running weather. for now, how are the roads

looking? >> they are dry which is helpful. i spent the day in the city yesterday with friends in from out of town. rate temperatures and sun shining. think about that too for the weekend with your outdoor activities or heading up to the coast, more traffic than typical with many people enjoying the sunny weather. metering lights on at the bay bridge with a few brake lights approaching the toll plaza. overall it is a pretty seamless ride into san francisco. all approaches are clear. a 80 ride all clear. south 880 from hayward to the san mateo bridge or just a bit of a lawn shown here . we are tracking this closely at san mateo bridge. the supreme court has until midnight tonight to reach the decision about the abortion pill mifepristone after

kevon looney. he's been with the team about seven years and only 27. i think we have much more of kevon looney to see. he stepped in and stepped up and he owned the moment and an incredible game for him and a difference maker for the team >> 20 rebounds in total and nine are all offensive rebounds which is very impressive. we heard steph curry talking about kevon looney and had great things to say. we also heard from kevon looney himself about his mindset during the game. >> sometimes as a rebounder you can get in the zone and i feel the same way sometimes and i know where the ball is going every time i touch it, it seems to go my way and tipping my way >> i like how it says when you know that steph curry gets in the zone from deep and that was kevon looney when it came to the rebounds yesterday and we saw what a difference maker it made in the game. >> a humble guy and i have an

the biggest contrast in the next seven days. starting out already in the 80s but with cool down a little bit sunday into monday. game on, jumping over 10 degrees wednesday thursday of next week with plenty of sunshine in the west eastland hills . close to 90 already and still april. into the 90s but the rest of us upper 60s to low 70s in san francisco. upper 60s to 70s for the north bay . mild across the area but beautiful nonetheless with all of the sunshine. we are friday light for the most part which is great news. ink about the weekend out and about . you may see extra busy conditions with places along the coast where people are getting out or maybe popular hiking spots. the parking lots wibelittle bit full as people finally get to enjoy our beautiful san francisco weekend . think about that when you're

onto a developing and pretty disappointing story. it has been another disappointing start for the days and now a devastating blow dealt to the fans. after years of tense negotiations in the bay the a's said they reached a deal to acquire the stadium site near the las vegas strip. mayor sheng thao said the city of oakland was stop negotiating

with the team over new ballpark adding that the team is not negotiated in good faith. this after the team ownership agreed to purchase the 49 acre site near the las vegas strip to build the $1 billion stadium. >> we were the closest we were ever to sealing the deal and then i get a very disappointing phone call. i want to be very clear. this announcement happened mid negotiations and shows they have no interest in reaching a deal with oakland at all. oakland is not interested in being used as leverage in the case negotiations with las vegas. >> the a's would of course be just the latest professional team to lead the east bay in the recent years. with remember the raiders also east oakland for vegas in 2020. the warriors moved to san francisco in 2019. we spent time at the coliseum talking with the fans about the potential loss. >> baseball is my sport and

we cannot say enough about kevon looney who was the difference maker in the game with 20 rebounds and nine offense of rebounds and curry had great things to say about lenny along with steve kerr who also talked about what worked for the team . >> understanding the value that even though we are not scoring, get control of the ball and don't give them transition opportunities. make them score at the half court which is the kind of playoff basketball in general but definitely against the king mike sacramento that thrives in transition. >> warriors shot 30% overall and 40% from the three line and kings only 23% from the three point line . warriors got this one win that changes the tone of the series. and four this sunday at 12:30. we want to tune into the game time he t

home prices fell across the united states last month largely due to higher mortgage rates. sales of existing homes dropping 2.4% from february to march. sales from last month down 22% from one year earlier.

damon bruce and the warriors set the tone from the get go right out of the gate they knew what they were doing. they made the adjustments and what you think is the thing that got them the win officially . >> a couple of things. the warriors came out and rhythm right away and the kings laid an egg last night which is what happens when you play under pressure. when you are the team they assume will pick up the road win. the gravity of the situation changes a little and that may have collapsed the kingston a bit and the warriors without draymond green clearly motivated they had something to do last night and they did that. kevon looney playing one of the greatest games of his entire career with 20 rebounds. incredible on the board and great with nine assists last night. we expect to see these games from curry and weakens. we have come to expect that. the role players at home have been much different than the

for the warriors. they need to win four in a row and have a stretch of three of the next four at home. obviously the one they just won. now they have to table the business. they don't want game seven in sacramento. the kings laid the egg last night but they are a very good team that is fast, athletic, hungry and well coached. to talk about how mike brown undressed steve kerr, not great. he knows his wardrobe implicitly. he is not undressing him but knows exactly what he will wear. the kings were all over the warriors in the first two sessions. mike brown did not know exactly what to pounce on. i think maybe his absence with a little bit of a blessing in disguise. a got the team motivated and they were dialed in from the get go. the return of draymond is the next piece of the puzzle to keep it going. were the warriors really took
