8:08 pm
isaac not all the intended receiver. >> trent: we talk there is only one caught -- cut down day where there used to be several. it is tougher for a coach. >> trent: i think it would be easier on the coaches have the personnel because it would give them bodies for preseason game. a big reason for doing it. and also gives another opportunity for guys to get on tape and teams to get exposure. i think it makes it difficult on a player to maybe get picked up but another roster, some of those early cuts gives you an opportunity to get picked up by another team. so that is a tough thing, you want that extra game to get more exposure but you also want a little bit of extra time to get a workout or be evaluated by another team to stay in the league. >> greg: there is a push to cut down to two games and add two to the regular season game but the coach it is valuable when it comes to raiding a

player to find out what he's got. >> trent: right, just because the practices they are limited on practice, padded practices and the buffaloes take a timeout on fourth down. detroit was going to go for it. >> referee: buffaloes, it will be 30 seconds. >> greg: so that evaluation process, you know, an ongoing thing. and when you say to your point, greg two preseason games, for instance, detroit they like the fact they practice in houston. they liked the work that they got and against those two teams because during a practice tempo, you can set the tempo what we wanted to be. you can get a lot accomplished against another team. that is a trend going around the leg. a lot more of this off-season than i remember the last couple of seasons. it used topu 80s, early '90s. and wisconsin, minnesota, you battle. but a lot has changed in terms

okay. nice moment between the two. >> greg: not every moment is a happy moment out on the field. >> trent: actually by getting this timeout, they added a couple of seconds to the clock so now it is 2:45. no matter what they do on display here, they will have to get that ball snapped on third down. and -- unless they pick up the first town but the ball snapped no matter what to get another play. >> greg:>> greg: and the 82nd pr something. murphy close to the 20-yard li line. >> trent: actualy, not a timeout. it down to the

two-minute warning without having to take another snap. that is critical. one second. that little dance in the backfield to extend the play a little bit. >> greg: yep. no timeouts. buffalo will get the two-minute warning. so there it is, 2 minutes to play. if they don't get the first down, they will have one minute left with no timeout. here is what the bill schedule starts like to start the season. they will open at the javits and then go back to the same stadium a week after. trent you and i will be there with the new york giants. and then cincinnati, new england and then home to miami.

quarter. what is going on here? why is he playing? we will see garoppolo playing tomorrow. i'm curious about that. i hate to say too much because it's a preseason game. he will play maybe a quarter, may be a little more but after the last preseason game, if you want to see him at least feel confident, you want to see him make a throw may be under pressure. that is what we have seen them struggle with. he feels pressure, the boss is coming out. don't hit me, especially don't hit me low. kenny get through that? that's one thing in any preseason game i am looking to see. a lot of people see what garoppolo looks like >> this is why he is good, folks. the insights just come right out of him. excellent segue. we are going to kansas city right now. was handed over to dennis o'donnell, standing by,
