laundry. >> tell him he forget his sock on the side. >> goes to show, you're never too young. nick is going to get things started today with dash cam footage and the story behind it. >> everyday heros at work and this dash cam video proves it. see a couple officers on their way to a fiery car crash. the cruiser pulls up. the officers jump out and they qckly realize ther is in that c upside down. >> we got one person in the car unconscious, unresponsive. right next to a huge fire. >> the stuff that's on fire are power poles. the transformer exploded and is on fire right next to that car. >> you got to get out of the car, buddy. come on. come on. get out of the car. climb out to me. >> i'm good, i'm good. >> get out of the car, dude! >> you see and hear the officers saying get out of the car. they couldn't quite reach him. he must have been in shock

saying i'm okay, i'm fine. no, you're not fine. there's a fire next to your car. you have to get out. >> buddy, you have to get out of the car. >> i'm good. >> there's a huge fire behind you. >> eventually these two officers put their lives on the line, got inside the car and dragged this man out, saving his life. >> okay. >> were drugs and alcohol involved in this? >> no word but speed was definitely involved. some witnesses claim the car was going about 80 miles an hour. this happened near keizer, oregon, in september 2011 and the two keizer police officers that helped in this accident, sergeant copeland and banford were both recently awarded the medal of valor. >> it is really wonderful to see these cops put their life on the line and become a hero for someone else. i'm about to show you some

hail video that is unbelievable. >> oh, my gosh. >> what you're looking at is video somebody captured with their phone about a half mile outside of henryville, indiana, where a tornado devastated the area. these guys were in the car where there was a massive hailstorm. hail so big, it was the size of baseballs. >> whoa. >> just in time for spring training. >> just in time for spring training but you won't believe the pitches that hit the windshield. >> oh! >> the whole thing is cracked. >> did it hit the side window and the back? >> yes, it did. >> that storm took out at least from the video three windows. >> that's a drag. >> all this video, gayle, is what's being unloaded from people who suffered through the tornadoes that swept through the country? >> these are from areas near where tornadoes touched down. as you can see here, this backyard is getting pummeled by hail. look at the pool. >> hail in a pool. >> that demonstrates the power of that hail when you see the water being disrupted like that. listen to the sound of this

house. they have a skylight in this house where you can see which the skylight amplifies that sound. >> that's more than a skylight. the whole ceiling is glass. >> of all the precipitation out there, i think hail is the weirdest. >> it's the most fascinating. wow, look at that. >> it's mean precipitation. >> angry. >> angry. >> angry precipitation. >> that's why it's called hail. >> all hail. >> that's good, beth. i want to warn you before you see the next video that it is difficult to watch. >> oh! >> no way. oh. holy molly, what happened? >> two divers from the ukraine were visiting egypt. they were actually in sharm el-sheikh staying at the city sharm hotel, a four-star hotel with exclusive access to an

exclusive beach and the surrounding waters. they were out for a snorkel dive and the friend of this ukrainian man happens to be shooting under water with an underwater camera as he was snorkeling. a boat came through and struck the diver on the head. now, the most horrific thing about this video is as they were rescuing him, the hotel, according to reports, is being blamed for this man's death. after he was struck he was still alive but the hotel wasn't prepared for a situation like this one. as they were trying to treat this man's injuries, he actually bled to death from his wound. >> it's not like he could have got out of the way, you know. you can't really dive down so fast or move so fast. >> if a boat is coming straight for you. >> when you go out and do things like this you want precautions, but in his case you're out snorkeling, trying to see the coral reef or the fish.

you're not exactly looking for boats coming your way. >> somebody must have done something wrong here. got to be a way to prevent something like this. people try to smuggle all sorts of things through customs in the airport but i've never seen an attempt quite like this. wait until you see what this man was smuggling, stopped by agents because he wasn't able to bend over. iphones. this guy had 30 iphones taped to his waist and ankles. this is in china. this is actually pretty common. smugglers try to smuggle iphones from hong kong because in hong kong you can buy an iphone for $125 cheaper than you can say in the mainland of china. >> this is so weird. of all the things that you could smuggle, that people obviously smuggle, why an iphone. >> if you saw enough of them you could make a pretty penny, so much that 3,000 phones have been seized in 231 cases. another part of the video shows a guy smuggling iphones through

but this guy has this old vintage car riding the rails. did he somehow take wheels from a train and install them on his vintage powder blue car? >> i've never seen anything like it. sometimes what you'll see is train utility cars will have like these little drop down wheels that fit into the rails and they can turn their pick-up truck into something that will drive on the rails. i've never seen a car that looks like he's riding on 20 inch dubs. >> right. >> cruising down the rails. >> i just hope that a train wasn't coming in the opposite direction because then this pretty sweet car would be -- >> from one video we're not quite sure what's going on to another video i haven't figured out. might be in russia and it looks like a guy has altered a dirt bike body with quad wheels in the back and then skis in the front of this thing. >> eeshgs my gosh. >> looks like a motorcycle. those aren't quad wheels.
