details of five year old is dead after a shooting on i 80 in milpitas last night. california highway patrol tells us it all happened in the south bound lanes of the highway new dixon landing road just before seven p.m. the chp hasn't said if there has been an arrest, but santa cruz police say they picked up three suspects last night after a chase on highway 17. they say those suspects may be connected to two shootings near fremont, including one that involved the death of a child. the suspects are now in the custody of fremont police. we are still working to find out more about those cases, and we will keep you updated on the air and on abc seven news app. meantime a gunman is wanted for a deadly shooting in san jose. officers received a call yesterday afternoon after shots were fired near keys and south third streets. the victim died hours later at the hospital. this is san jose's eighth homicide of the year. a san francisco man is suing tesla,

accusing elon musk's company of privacy violations. all of this comes after reuters reported employees at tesla's now shuttered san mateo office, shared sensitive images and videos captured from the cars of tesla owners, abc news transportation correspondent gio benitez explains how it could potentially become a class action lawsuit. a tesla owner, filing a complaint accusing the company of allegedly violating california privacy laws, among other claims. the potential class action lawsuit alleges that between 2019 and 2022 by virtue of this defective system , tesla employees accessed and circulated recordings of tesla customers in private and embarrassing situations without their consent. it's not ok for tesla to be using that information in ways that it's promised not to use. the lawsuit filed for ride. a comes after a reuters report published thursday in which a small group of former tesla employees who are nameless, said they internally shared private photos

and videos captured by tesla's car cameras without customers' consent. to relieve boredom. a lot of these data labelers would would share these videos with each other. reuters said in its report that it was unable to obtain any of the shared material, and the former employees said they hadn't saved the alleged private information examples of the shared materials mentioned in the lawsuit were also referenced without evidence , and the lawsuit does not allege the plaintiffs. tesla's camera was accessed. he didn't consent to, uh, you know, images of his family being available to test the employees to circulate around the officer to comment on nobody can sent it to that. tesla did not immediately respond to a b. c s request for comment. but earlier this year, tesla releasing a detailed look at their privacy practices, which included explaining when the cameras are enabled, and how information is stored the cameras only record if you opt in and the recordings are saved in your vehicle, not on tesla's
