francisco in court to answer charges in a fight outside at&t park. it took place after the game on thursday between the a's and the giants. a 27-year-old woman tried to break up the fight but a man punch her in the face and knocked her unconscious. she spent night in the hospital. police did not thing it stemmed from a rivalry between the teams. the suspects were arrested in sacramento a day or two of the fight. >> a dinner out turned into a life or death struggle when a man was threaten patrons in a restaurant. customers banded together to take the man down and police are calling them "heroes." here is that story. >> not one person was hurt is a miracle. >> david was eating at la piñata in san leandro at 11 o'clock and he heard an outburst and six people, employees and patrons were wrestling with jose alas.

this morning, israel says they will respond with force if an egyptian-brokered cease-fire is broken. hamas rejected it after tel aviv accepted it. israel dropped more bombs on gaza before the start of the truce which began at 11 o'clock our time last night. san francisco residents have relatives in gaza and call each day to find out if family members are safe. the administration is defending the assault. >> i asked, how is this compared to the last war and they say, this is so much worse. i thought, how could this be worse and they said because the bombs are dropping every few minutes. >> no country can accept rocket fire aimed at civilians. that is the reason we support israel's right to defend itself. >> israel believes they will get

the international community support if hamas violates the cease-fire. three rockets were fired into israel this morning and it is fought certain who is responsible. >> developing news in the east bay, chevron deferring up to appeal a decision by the planning commission that delays the energy giant's billion dollar upgrade to the refinery. last week the commission unanimously approved the projects environmental impact report but added more than a dozen safety and pollution reduction amendments. chevron will make their case to the city council next week that the environmental report should stay the way it was approved. >> knew my riders can breathe a safe relief after a new contract with a deal announced two weeks ago granting three years of raises totaling 14 percent. it does require members pay into their pension plan. former mayor brown helped broker the agreement.

happening today the santa clara city council expected to sign off on a plan to ease traffic at the new levi stadium. ticket holders can download town by town directions to take them to specific routes to the stadium. roads and intersections will be changed to help with the traffic flow and there will be synchronized traffic light. caltrains will increase service and there will be a drop off spot for uber and taxis. the stadium will be observing a ribbon cutting on thursday. >> muggy for us. >> absolutely. we will talk about the temperatures headed into downtown in the money 50's and 60's at the ferry building. to the financial district it is 56. temperatures are cooler than year. a lost mid-to-upper 50's until union city and santa clara and saratoga and low-to-mid 60's
