tv   Dan Wootton Tonight  GB News  March 29, 2023 9:00pm-11:01pm BST

9:00 pm
n0 spin, no bias, no spin, no bias, no censorship . dan wootton tonight 50,000 migrants for, hundred hotels at a cost of well over £6 million a day. the channel islands asian is tearing out great british communities apart. but is the government finally starting to listen .7 we must not elevate the listen? we must not elevate the well—being illegal migrants above those the british people accommodation migrants should meet the essential living needs and nothing . why i welcome plans and nothing. why i welcome plans to house illegal migrants on faces and on barges. it's just the start. and i'm going to explain why rishi must give superwoman so love free reign to
9:01 pm
truly take back control of our borders. in my digest next that my superstar panel gives their view tonight i'm by adam brookes. dominique and matthew loza . also coming up, a huge loza. also coming up, a huge crowds welcomed king charles to germany today on his first state tour as monarch. but while his father makes britain proud , father makes britain proud, harry continues to smell his own family. this time with baseless claims in a british court. so is the royal family's rift now too deep to solve ? before the deep to solve? before the coronation, harry's biographer, angela levin , weighs in live angela levin, weighs in live elsewhere . the show as the elsewhere. the show as the guardian scores a woke own goal by apologising for its links to slavery while , promising just slavery while, promising just £10 million in a decade long program of restorative has the hard left mouthpiece open the floodgates for british reparations ? tory deputy reparations? tory deputy chairman lee anderson returns to the show to , deliver his the show to, deliver his unflinching verdict . live in the unflinching verdict. live in the studio . also on the way, j.k. studio. also on the way, j.k. rowling has hit out at the
9:02 pm
danger posed by extremists trends, ideology and her most personal interview ever. we've seen thousands of% increase in young women trying to escape their physical bodies. should we not be asking ? why that's not be asking? why that's happening ? but is the harry happening? but is the harry potter author right to say children changing gender is one of the worst medical scandals in a century. that's big debate later in the show as this woman goes on us hit tv show doctor phil claiming that she is , phil claiming that she is, madeleine mccann , a dna sample madeleine mccann, a dna sample to, scotland yard, for example . to, scotland yard, for example. are you willing do that if you i will show that my rules come from within . i will do this . so from within. i will do this. so in light of this huge development, should the home office still be giving £300,000 a new funding for the uk investigation to it scotland yard's most respected former detectives duke it out in the clash also , was it wrong for the
9:03 pm
clash also, was it wrong for the act to appears to issue a pathetic snivelling apology for simply said yes. dean non—transaction should be able to take time's rose with the comedian and host of the economics podcast constantine kissel speaks out live and does eddie izzard write that right wing ? comics are racist and sex. wing? comics are racist and sex. one of britain's best and proudly conservative entertainers, jim davidson , entertainers, jim davidson, takes on the failed labour mp an unmissable i'm cancelled plus tributes pouring in for the tv radio legend. hello after he passed away, alex to me at the age of 67, they moan and i think if i was being paid 50 million, i can down shut off the irreplaceable and irrepressible will celebrate the life of watching them. one of britain's best loved performers later in the show as ever i'll bring you tomorrow's newspapers hot off the press, i have a feeling mr. o'grady will feature on those front pages and a new greatest

britain and unions. front pages and a new greatest britain and unions . jack has britain and unions. jack has named people the night is out . named people the night is out. this is dan wootton tonight. let's go . let's go. my let's go. my digest on the government's major announcement about moving illegal migrants out of the hotels which currently causing so many stresses and strains in local communities up and down britain in just a moment. but first, the news headlines with polly middlehurst middlehurst. dan, thank you . good evening. dan, thank you. good evening. the top story tonight , the the top story tonight, the immigration minister has announced plans stop housing, asylum seekers in hotels and place them in disused military bases, admitting the use of hotels had harmed some towns. robert jenrick said migrants will now be placed at in essex.
9:05 pm
lincolnshire and east sussex. the accommodation be guarded by 24 hour security and meet my essential living needs . these essential living needs. these hotels take valuable assets from communities and place pressures on local public services. seaside towns have lost tourist trade weddings have been cancelled and local councils had their resources diverted to manage them. and the hard working british taxpayer has been left to foot. the eye—watering . £2.3 billion a eye—watering. £2.3 billion a year bill. some of the leading names in the digital technol industry are calling for a six month pause in the development of artificial intelligence or a.i. because of the potential risks society. they're warning the tech could eventually outsmart and outnumber human minds , then replace us. elon minds, then replace us. elon musk is among more 1000 industry
9:06 pm
executives who signed an open letter saying powerful ai systems should only be progressed once there is confidence the effects will be positive . and now the daily mail positive. and now the daily mail says the duke of sussex's private claim them should be rejected in its entirety and has been brought far to late. associated newspapers ltd says the legal challenges by prince andrew and other celebrities, including sir elton john, have no real prospects succeeding. but the legal team for prince harry and have described the publisher's bid as hopeless and plainly inappropriate . the queen plainly inappropriate. the queen is said to have been deeply saddened at the death of tv presenter and dog lover paul o'grady, who died last suddenly at the age of 67. she says his warm heart and infectious humour lit up the lives of so many and his partner andre petecio said
9:07 pm
he died unexpectedly but peacefully broadcaster pete price was a friend. he says he changed television . now the changed television. now the german president has hailed a new chapter in relations between his country and the uk as he welcomed the king and queen to a banquet in. and a warning if you're watching on television. there are some flashing images coming up. king charles and camilla have been greeting guests arriving at the bellevue palace . president steinmeier , palace. president steinmeier, charles, for choosing germany as . his first foreign visit as , . his first foreign visit as, head of the royal family describing it as a tremendous personal gesture . that's it for personal gesture. that's it for me. i'm back an hour. now back to dan . to dan. more than 400 hotels are at this moment housing well over 50,000,
9:08 pm
mostly illegal migrants across this great country . it's costing this great country. it's costing us £6 million plus a day , a us £6 million plus a day, a figure that is rapidly growing. indeed, the sickening point, £5 billion total bill is equivalent . a third of britain's international aid budget. but even more worryingly, this soft approach to illegal is now tearing many great local british communities apart for far too. the impact of such a policy alongside , the inability to alongside, the inability to actually stop the boats has been dismissed as a right wing concern . but it is becoming concern. but it is becoming blindingly obvious that the majority of honest, hardworking brits have had enough terrified about the safe flow of their families and the nefarious on local businesses . and so .
9:09 pm
local businesses. and so. on no matter how high, no matter , no matter how high, no matter, no matter . how no matter how high, no matter, no matter. how. well today , the no matter. how. well today, the government finally started to listen, announcing plans , try listen, announcing plans, try and cut the number of expensive in favour of raaf and in the future, perhaps even barges . future, perhaps even barges. these hotels take valuable assets from communities and place pressures on local services. we must not elevate the well—being of illegal migrants above those of the british people . accommodation british people. accommodation for migrants should meet essential living needs and nothing more. because we cannot risk a magnet for the millions of people who are displaced and seeking economic prospects as is
9:10 pm
so the case with this government, though, the rhetoric was without doubt correct . but i was without doubt correct. but i think the delivery still leaves a lot to desired. jenrick admitted that high class hotels continue to be used in the medium term which is completely unlike acceptable to me and most brits . and while the use of brits. and while the use of barges ships is being considered no specific plans, specific plans have been announced yet. and i want to know why. then there's the issue of the dambusters hq scampton with the local planning a legal in junction to stop its use . rishi junction to stop its use. rishi sunak has stopping the boats by christmas is top political priority and he is right to do so. but he has to start treating the situation the clear and present emergency that it is . present emergency that it is. the invasion of the uk via the channelis the invasion of the uk via the channel is only getting worse . channel is only getting worse. and a softly, softly approach to appease tory wets and the labour border opposition will provide
9:11 pm
no deterrent effect . we're in no deterrent effect. we're in a cost of lockdown crisis . so to cost of lockdown crisis. so to shell out literally billions, literally billions for economic migrants to spend years on end living for free in luxury hotels where they don't work and are fed and clothed , usually using fed and clothed, usually using our taxpayer . that's not just our taxpayer. that's not just morally repugnant. it's politically toxic, too. so i welcome today's announcement. but only the very start and i still have reservations that sunak doesn't understand the scale of the threat. while he tries to convince he can implement his plan while remaining a member of the echr. home secretary swoop asserts superwoman suella braverman knows what needs to be done to stop this threat to our borders. the pm has to let her do so. but to respond now my, superstar panel political commentator samuels, the businessman and activist brookes and making his debut. it is great to have him here. the former top labour
9:12 pm
adviser , laser. here. the former top labour adviser , laser . so, here. the former top labour adviser , laser. so, dominique , adviser, laser. so, dominique, the government had to do right. this is complete . impractical. this is complete. impractical. one hundreds and hundreds , one hundreds and hundreds, hotels being taken up, up and down the country, destroying communities costing millions of pounds a day . my concern is i pounds a day. my concern is i just if they've done enough because three raaf base is we're only going to take a few thousand illegals each. i the problem is it doesn't feel a solution. again it just feels like a sticking and as is the trend with this government, they to say all of the right things but then when it actually gets down to the nitty gritty of it, they're not doing much. we can all agree that housing thousands of people in hotels at the cost 6 million a day, i think it's probably more is completely ridiculous . probably more is completely ridiculous. it's sickening . our ridiculous. it's sickening. our homeless are treated worse than that. and then there are some people that say the idea of
9:13 pm
housing, people on ports in these what they call barrages is inhumane . these what they call barrages is inhumane. but then these what they call barrages is inhumane . but then when you look inhumane. but then when you look at northern france i mean, the calais jungle was officially closed down some years ago, but people are still basically living in forests which is more inhumane . i living in forests which is more inhumane. i think the living in forests which is more inhumane . i think the latter is inhumane. i think the latter is . but then again, at the same time i do that there is incompetence at the heart of the way the government is handling this. so if you look at some of the people that are actually coming over here, i think there is some stuff that we could do. for example, with regards the afghan resettlement scheme and all the people coming all the people that are coming over afghanistan, over here from afghanistan, that's . and that's increased sixfold. and yet only 22 have actually yet only 22 people have actually been resettle here. so perhaps we also look at the amount we could also look at the amount of people that are processing these claims , don't want these asylum claims, don't want them tracked just the them fast tracked just for the sake of. but clearly something needs to be done. perhaps a happy medium is needed with people nationalities , i people from nationalities, i suppose. adam do you have any problem with the concept of how
9:14 pm
the illegal migrants in barges or disused ? no, i'd rather than or disused? no, i'd rather than there than in local hotels . i've there than in local hotels. i've got a local migrant hotel near me and when in the high road in epping high road, you see migrants walking up and down, not knowing what to do with themself all day. i was in account working of it. i was in account working of it. i was in a the council offices a few weeks ago and i was coming in there begging for more food, even the were meant even though the hotel were meant to them, all was to be feeding them, all was feeding now one thing that feeding them. now one thing that i would to emphasise is that we don't know who many of these people are . we don't know their people are. we don't know their criminal backgrounds don't criminal backgrounds, we don't know beliefs. now we know their beliefs. now we cannot allowing tens of cannot keep allowing tens of thousands of unknown men , 90% of thousands of unknown men, 90% of men that come across these on these boats, just wandering round our streets. now, if the bases are going to be locked and they're going to, we've still got to face that. we're going to have 2000 people in a military base. what do we do with them? and what's fascinating to me today is got the foreign today is you've got the foreign secretary james cleverly saying,
9:15 pm
not my back yard. he doesn't not in my back yard. he doesn't want his raaf base be taken up with two so many on the left like they like to sort of grandstand and virtual signal until it affects them and then suddenly when it's on that front door they don't , they don't like door they don't, they don't like it. matthew laws are obviously you're a former labour adviser, but did you not think it was actually a bold move from sunak today because of part as part of the. he said, look, i am going to take one of these big migrant bases in my constituency was that moral leadership from him . that moral leadership from him. it is but it's the foreign secretary this morning constituency. it's not much of moral leadership from the government. but we need a plan. i mean, what we need is a lot fewer initiatives and a lot more delivery on the ground . it's the delivery on the ground. it's the biologies which reflect which with this morning story there isn't a single badge. they do not. it is a completely hypothetical question as to whether a single migrant they will be about because they will never be about because they
9:16 pm
haven't voted no. they haven't actually anything in place. but the hotels in robert jenrick said something that said it was something that the government on, government is working on, but it's headline for average it's great headline for average brit to think, oh, they are going to have party. so headunes going to have party. so headlines we need we need a solution which means and i agree migrants down your high that your grading isn't it dominique we've had enough of tough talk we've had enough of tough talk we need to see tough action because . the problem is only because. the problem is only getting bigger. because. the problem is only getting bigger . what was the getting bigger. what was the record figure recently ? 160,000 record figure recently? 160,000 applications. and the people that have come from across the channelin that have come from across the channel in 2022, most of their applications have they haven't even had a response . plus, we're even had a response. plus, we're facing 80,000 more this year. and then what happens is when they want their families to come over. they want their families to come over . let's let's times that over. let's let's times that figure by three or four now. but it's not a the problem is, matthew lasry, is that the heart liberals on the left are the people who are putting the fear of god into the government because lot say is because your lot would say is inhumane. it's, it's to
9:17 pm
inhumane. it's, it's, it's to hold illegal migrants in ferries or on what might want to do is get the system sorted and we say the applications are processed and people who shouldn't be here are sent back to the country from which they came . last year, from which they came. last year, germany was able to send 48,000 migrants back to the country of people first arrive because obviously germany still in the european union and because of the way the dublin treaty works where to in where people have to apply in the country dump i.d. the country they dump i.d. before here. so where before they get here. so where do send them back then they do we send them back then they gaming system we are gaming our system we are a softer but we are soft touch partly because after what is it now 13 years of a tory led government. but we have an immigration doesn't immigration system that doesn't matter. matthew, look, i know you're former labour adviser, you're a former labour adviser, but serious but you're not in all serious sitting here saying that labour would tougher on borders than would be tougher on borders than the conservative party. your leader , keir starmer, is on leader, keir starmer, is on record saying that he believes in free movement. i think that we would have a system that
9:18 pm
works. i think we wouldn't have had as we years of the government , refusing to government, refusing to co—operate properly with the french as a green movement on that and in fact fair play to rishi for having got a bit of movement on that but we need a proper system in place today tory he's against a the tory mp he's voted against a the border migrant police force which labour is in favour with. so bleeding heart. we so it's not a bleeding heart. we could changed modern could have changed the modern slavery this slavery legislation in this country to stop the country last year to stop the albanians coming we didn't albanians coming over. we didn't . what i will say is there are also a lot of bleeding heart liberals at the moment within, the party, and they the conservative party, and they are huge issue as are causing a huge issue as well. the tory need well. the tory way. we need a deterrent and that is the main thing. adam brooks, dominic samuel, lazard, great samuel, matthew lazard, great to have my superstar panel have you all. my superstar panel will be back. very soon, but also way as guardian also on the way as guardian scores massive own goal with scores a massive own goal with its links to slavery. after lecturing so many others. is this about to get worse with the hard left's mouthpiece opening the floodgates for british rapper racing's will. tory party deputy lee anderson is going deliver his unflinching verdict
9:19 pm
shortly. but next in the clash , shortly. but next in the clash, a polish woman claims mainstream us tv she is the missing madeleine mccann . and should the madeleine mccann. and should the home office still be giving £300,000 in new funding for the uk ? will two of scotland yard's uk? will two of scotland yard's most respected detectives, mike neville and shannon chowdhry, are joined by broadcaster bushell shake to duke it out right after break. but i'm fascinated to hear your views on this. email me down at gbnews.uk. d0 this. email me down at gbnews.uk. do you think it was incentive for dr. phil to bring on a woman claiming to be madeleine mccann before she's actually dna or actually being dna tested or actually being dna tested or actually this going to bring her case international attention case to international attention at gb news. you can find our poll there on twitter and the results in clash straight results in the clash straight after .

break lee and konstantin kissin on the way. but first, the clash and poush way. but first, the clash and polish woman julie wendel has become a dubious social media sensation , claiming she is sensation, claiming she is madeleine mccann . 16 years on, madeleine mccann. 16 years on, from her disappearance going mainstream on the hit tv show dr. phil , the 21 year old claim dr. phil, the 21 year old claim to remember detail from maddie's tragic trip to portugal and pointed out that she distinctive features with the then three year old watch edlund has defect
9:24 pm
in the iris and you have that same phenomenon, right? mean very faded little faded now but yes. have you tested dna? see, i help you with ancestry . we. we help you with ancestry. we. we are waiting results. this all can be resolved very . if you can be resolved very. if you provide a dna sample to scotland yard, for example , or you to do yard, for example, or you to do that. yard, for example, or you to do that . if the dna show. that's my that. if the dna show. that's my rules come from britain . i will rules come from britain. i will do this . julie is sensational do this. julie is sensational but question annabelle appearance comes as the home office reportedly prepares to announce £300,000 in fresh funding for maddy's investigation . but with 13
9:25 pm
investigation. but with 13 million already spent, no avail. should the home office continue to fund the search? madeleine mccann. fascinating just to know your thoughts on this. i know it's an that many of us feel we have a stake in down at gbnews.uk. vote in our poll at gbnews.uk. vote in our poll at gb news twitter. but to debate this now, i'm joined by former scotland chief inspector mike neville , former detective neville, former detective superintendent at scotland yard, shabnam chowdhury and the broadcaster bushra shaikh. great to have all of you here. might never you say yes, we continue funding the madeleine mccann case. why well, there's very few children on the ten over vanish like they have in the last 20 years. is about four or five. less than five in the uk. now i've got four children, if any of those went missing in such circumstances , i'd expect circumstances, i'd expect everything to be done. if this funding is granted, however, it's got to used for proper reasons, not. they are also
9:26 pm
answerable . i suggest there are answerable. i suggest there are leads , there are images. all leads, there are images. all over the world that could be used on facebook account passport in the seas, child videos are catalogued and they could be used because madeleine was wearing a distinctive clothing and as you said in your report , she has this very report, she has this very distinctive birthmark in her right. so my expertise is in finding people with images. and i don't think that has done. the police have spent too time tracing witnesses who didn't really know much the day after, never mind 20 years down the track . okay. and, mike, can track. okay. and, mike, can i just use properly? okay, great. mike i understand that. can i just ask specifically about juue just ask specifically about julie then? dell, this woman who's appearing on dr. phil now , she says she does have distinctive marking in her eye. do you think investigators should be taking her seriously or is she a crank to the crime? family have already come forward . that mark in the eyes is in
9:27 pm
about one in 10,000 people. so that can be discounted. however, it could be used by a computer to try and find people who do look like madeleine. and if she is or if she is alive today. all was taken by and filmed. there should be images available. and i don't think these these avenues have been properly assess. the police are very good old fashioned methods. but when it comes digital, police in there in the stone age. okay shabnam chowdhry is a former detective superintendent at scotland yard. you take a different on this might and different on this too. might and you say no . we've poured enough you say no. we've poured enough money into the madeleine mccann case. well, i think mike, make some really good that's really important points i think the key issue here is that you've got a four year old child that's missing and any parent leave no stone unturned and would make every effort to continuously try to find their child. but we have £13 million spent in the last 16
9:28 pm
years and lot of the enquiries that mike talks about may well have have not been undertaken . have have not been undertaken. but within the uk there are more than 12,000 long term missing people on the police books at the moment, 265,000 people are reported missing every year. 47,000 of those can be children. so there's a significant number of people across the uk who are reported missing . and what i'd reported missing. and what i'd be interested to know is what sort of funds consistently used to try to locate those people back here in the uk. there's lot of money spent on trying to find madeleine mccann . you know what madeleine mccann. you know what information , how much work are information, how much work are the portuguese police doing in terms of trying to locate the owners should be there because it's within their jurisdiction. they have the right information and so but they have never done and so but they have never done a correct job, in my opinion
9:29 pm
look. bouchet you've just heard from two of the biggest names in policing who disagree on whether we should keep on finding the madeleine mccann case from a punter's perspective, where do you stand on this, bushra? do you stand on this, bushra? do you want to the money to keep being spent? no 13 million is far more than enough money to carry out an investigation and know both sides of the family dunng know both sides of the family during this . so much must have during this. so much must have been done £300,000 of taxpayer money can be well spent in other places . the mccanns want, money can be well spent in other places . the mccanns want , to places. the mccanns want, to further this investigation , i'm further this investigation, i'm sure they can do like a go fund me or they could fund the money themselves right now just using juua themselves right now just using julia as an example say she could be that missing child they can they can go out there and fund that themselves i mean 300,000 on top of £1,314 million is a lot of money. i could name you five missing children, right in london that have gone missing that this money can go to . but
9:30 pm
that this money can go to. but don't you have huge sympathy , don't you have huge sympathy, kate gerry mccann, can you kate and gerry mccann, can you understand why want the understand why they want the police to keep on looking into missing. maddy absolutely. that i'm no, i'm a mother. i've got three children and i can empathise with that. and i know when it comes to parents, you will do that. you can try and do to find that child. but at the moment, you know, are looking at a case that is more than 15 years. it's already £30 million spent on it. and now that the met office has asked the home office provide another further 300,000. i'm sure there are more people out there like me are not going to happy for that. and the dna support. well, this particular young woman isn't going to cost £300,000. okay. but you think we should at least take julia then claim serious enough to go through the official and at least roll her out. or you. or do you think could be maddy? i think i'm not saying that this could be maddy.
9:31 pm
i'm saying from perspective of a parent, if somebody has come forward to say that they might , forward to say that they might, maddy, it's not going to cost much to just prove that she is or she is. and i mean, personally, i don't think that she is. i do believe that they are saying she was perhaps trafficked. trafficked. trafficked. she was trafficked. yeah, let's get the yeah, exactly. so let's get the ten. let's get the tests . why ten. let's get the tests. why not? not? at least ruled it not? why not? at least ruled it artificially. so, mike neville, do come there? do you want come back there? because shabnam because bushra and shabnam disagree that they do disagree with you that they do not want the money to go to this case? i can only reiterate, we can talk about big numbers . can talk about big numbers. about 250,000 people going missing every year, most of them in my space because i run a missing persons unit. they're back in 4 hours. there's very, very few people vanish. and as i've in the last 20 years, there less than five children under ten in this country that have vanished this way. and all of those the same treatment. but we be unrelenting in this . have we be unrelenting in this. have we spent 500 billion on the covid and the like? so i'm sure that
9:32 pm
30 million to just to find the missing child is not a bad thing to investigation must go on properly. and i just fear and i'll say this, these things haven't done with images. the police the reports on digital police the reports on digital police and the said they were a betamax police force last year and that's the problem and that i absolutely agree with absolute . fascinating debate. thank you so much . former scotland yard so much. former scotland yard chief inspector mike neville, former detective superintendent at the yard, shabnam chowdhury and, the broadcaster bushra shaikh. but who do you agree on this? as young woman goes on tv, on the show, dr. claiming that she is madeleine mccann , should she is madeleine mccann, should the home office still be giving £300,000 in new funding for ? the £300,000 in new funding for? the uk investigation? maybe you think revelation from the woman who claims that she's maddie means they should be even more money in. well, fred on twitter writes no. absolutely not. this isn't going to achieve anything . money can be used . the money can be used elsewhere. it's also disproportionate considering the many children have
9:33 pm
many other children that have gone haven't had gone missing that haven't had these from sammy . sadly, these funds from sammy. sadly, there a time when you have there comes a time when you have say enough. if they say enough is enough. if they haven't found her or what happened to her all this happened to her after all this time, hardly likely to now. time, they hardly likely to now. and from tina , a mother. i could and from tina, a mother. i could not rest until i had a definitive answer. whatever that may be, we spend much more money on much less important issues. so it's easy for me . and your so it's easy for me. and your verdict is now and i'm surprised by this one. i have to be honest. i thought it would be closer, but just 11% of you, just 11% of you think more funding be given to the maddie investigation. 89% of you saying, abso not. coming up, was it wrong for the actor guy pearce to issue a pathetic, snivelling apology for simply suggesting non trans actors should be able to play trans roles with a comedian? host of the trigonometry podcast constantine kissin is going to speak out on that suit. but next, the guardian scores, next, as the guardian scores, a massive woke own goal , its own massive woke own goal, its own links to slavery . after
9:34 pm
links to slavery. after lecturing so many others . is it lecturing so many others. is it about to get worse with the hard left's mouthpiece now opening the floodgates for lots of british reparations ? i'm british reparations? i'm delighted to say tory chairman lee anderson not the biggest of the guardian. he's going to deliver his unflinching verdict live in the studio straight after the break .
9:35 pm
9:36 pm
9:37 pm
9:38 pm
break deputy chairman of the conservative lee anderson is back in the studio with me now. and it's a perfect day to have him his enemies over at the failing rag, the guardian deciding that this case of self—flagellation and promise of a pitiful £10 million over ten years because of the slave links of its founder, john edward taylor is the most important news story in the entire world. look at this. look at this. the front page of the guardian today. and there it is. who cares about anything else going in the world? they want to talk about themselves. and is, about themselves. and this is, of because trust, of course, because scott trust, which guardian , knows which owns the guardian, knows that are opening the that they are opening the reparation floodgates. less than 24 hours after the news broke, how want to be global overlords at the un are already demanding the same sort of restorative justice be expanded across the nafion justice be expanded across the nation professor sheppard nation with professor sheppard and dominique de . both calling and dominique de. both calling on to lobby the

on britons to lobby the government and even the royal family rigorous self family begin quote rigorous self investigation and pay reparations . so it's all investigation and pay reparations. so it's all grimly predictable. i'm delighted to. westminster's toughest talking hayley anderson back into the studio. i mean , leigh, this is studio. i mean, leigh, this is fascinating on so many levels because firstly this is not the biggest story in the world. you folks at the guardian, it's very arrogant for you to think so. secondly you're giving £10 million over ten years. that's nothing. it's not going to change a thing. and you're doing it for reasons, aren't you? they want the reparation floodgates more , namby pamby virtue more, namby pamby virtue signalling from the guardian again. please, please move that away from me. i'm so up and last time i will dispose of the got yes. and you and your important role to the guardian . you all role to the guardian. you all want to be professional that sick to death . these namby pamby sick to death. these namby pamby is apologising for our history. are they going to start apologising for sending children up chimneys ? children on coal up chimneys? children on coal mines, women down coal mine? we did some pretty nasty stuff in
9:40 pm
our country around our own country and around world. but, know, i always world. but, you know, i always say , the irish. should be a say, the irish. they should be a mirror look. we are mirror for us to look. we are a great country. how about guardian? for one brilliance and positive stuff, country, positive stuff, this country, this our great country, this country, our great country, has a gift the world, has been a gift to the world, given railways. we've given given it railways. we've given it technology, we're giving it science. it medicines. science. we've got it medicines. how about saying we're a great country once need shut country once they need to shut up? i it to you that up? leigh, i put it to you that the guardian hates everything about well, they hate about britain. well, they hate me . hate they hate me. they hate you. they hate this place. they're they, you know, you you down. know, like you say, you down. they hate our country. they almost ashamed our history , almost ashamed of our history, our culture , our heritage, our culture, actually. why can't we be positive about great country? you know, as you said earlier, you people dying to get you know, people dying to get this risking lives this country risking their lives over channel in the dinghies over the channel in the dinghies to a great to get. and we are a great country. this country is a gift to . the world. exactly. and you to. the world. exactly. and you can be proud of our history. like i am proud of the british empire. you can also acknowledge not everything was great, but of us have been directly impacted
9:41 pm
by slave trade. and also why did they never remind everyone we were the first in the world to aboush were the first in the world to abolish the slave trade. and listen i've got friends from india . you know, they grew up in india. you know, they grew up in india. you know, they grew up in india loving country, love it, loving everything about great britain and what they do when they to a certain age, they move. they and their family. move. they and get their family. they set up business. they want to set up business. they want to set up business. they have a life here of children there. we are a great country these countries country colonise these countries in want to in these countries they want to come here dances. your come and live here dances. your question and i feel very question indeed. and i feel very similar way about new zealand, where i was born, of course, never been. it was a great country the fact that it country of the fact that it became part of the british. now look from the guardian to the bbc. i couldn't believe it. it's just. i know i'm triggering you. yeah, i'm you with all of this trump but i wanted to show you this because it's andrew. marr right. who was, of course, up the 2021, the biggest the end of 2021, the biggest presenter with the the presenter with the bbc, the person boris person had to interview boris all the time and we always he came to it with an agenda. well,
9:42 pm
now he has revealed his agenda to the new statesman. look at this. as somebody who wants a labour victory at the next election is that i'm alarmed that perhaps labour is underestimate in rishi sunak and i think , the prime minister is i think, the prime minister is doing far better so late that was the blow that we were meant to try out at all of the critical points like brexit, the red wall . and he's now openly red wall. and he's now openly admitting that he wants a labour government. i the bbc is crooked isn't it. it is. i mean he's only telling us what we already know. we know the bbc completely biased. we know like the guardian. it takes our country is always apologia every time we switch so i don't put it by the way , but you know they're always way, but you know they're always apologising for our history, our culture, just like the guardian and this andrew marr clip. it's quite disgusting. you know , quite disgusting. you know, actually, this is a tax , a actually, this is a tax, a taxpayer funded organisation supposed to be owned by is
9:43 pm
supposed to be owned by is supposed to be impartial, supposed to be impartial, supposed to be impartial, supposed to give us the correct, you know, like great reporting on politics. and what do we find out that all along. a wolf out now that all along. a wolf in is on our screens in sheep's is on our screens pushing own political agenda? absolutely disgusted. plus, they done anything to deal with gary lineker after the disgust comparison that made to your party, which is actually, by the way, too inhumane by trying to stop the boats. because if you don't stop the boats, you're empowering people smugglers and disgusting criminal gangs. and he compares to germany. i mean, and he's still in a job. well, he's case, don, of sweeping stuff on the carpet. there is a cover. stuff on the carpet. there is a cover . we know it's a cover up. cover. we know it's a cover up. look, i stopped my bbc licence. many, many years ago, stood up in that place and parliament say they another penny of they won't get another penny of me. they're letting the british pubuc me. they're letting the british public down. they're constantly attacking as attacking those as a party, as a government that i say they hate our and our culture. our history and our culture. and, know, people don't take and, you know, people don't take as seriously as as as they used to. it's supposed to be impartial taxpayer organisation
9:44 pm
that covers , you know, all of that covers, you know, all of us, all our opinions. but it doesn't it's quite clearly biased and andrew marr proves it . and look on the show yesterday i said will the real keir starmer please stand up? so let me show you this, because what are we meant to think about whether he is enemy of jeremy corbyn or his best mate, who he wanted to be minister. watch this . to pay wanted to be minister. watch this. to pay tribute to wanted to be minister. watch this . to pay tribute to jeremy this. to pay tribute to jeremy corbyn, who led our party through some really difficult times, who energised our and who's a friend as well as a colleague. you are shaking hands, looking like good pals. were you pals ? have you lost him were you pals? have you lost him as a friend ? because he said no, as a friend? because he said no, he did never considered you a friend. a friend is someone who you hang out who comes around pretty . i would think pretty well. i would never think that you would never friend. oh, no, and does it so how we no, no. and does it so how we trust a word that this bloke says. well you can't. i mean what a slippery he is. i mean, it just proves that spent a few years campaigning to make jeremy the prime minister stood on the
9:45 pm
same platform. was the shadow cabinet everybody a cabinet telling everybody what a great was. all of great person he was. all of a sudden he's the leader now. the labour they've done is labour party they've done is pulled dagger and stuck pulled up big dagger and stuck it right in between his shoulder blade. despicable wolf blade. what a despicable wolf in sheep's of sheep's clothing type of character yeah. and it's character is. yeah. and it's quite worrying isn't it, to have a potential future prime minister who minister of this country who actually vacuum. feel actually is moral vacuum. i feel like leigh, he will say anything to get elected. there's actually no sense of value that. he lives by and think it's so important that our politicians have a set of values. well this is the one thing that we keep hearing over over again and out on the street in ashfield in parliament wherever we go is that this man, he and do anything to he will say and do anything to take control of this country. you know, people country you know, people this country should wary of . should be very, very wary of. starmer i mean , corbyn supposed starmer i mean, corbyn supposed to his friend is comrade and to be his friend is comrade and is this is unbelievable is doing this is unbelievable unbelievable. it is. it's very worrying. now, look like i was told that you had another run in today with that loser that the
9:46 pm
anti—brexit campaigner steve bray let's have a watch 100 grand do you like you mr. anderson i hope you're get to hear some of the food fights it was really 3.1 of you get a little oh yeah yeah you get the loss i'm going to give you the 100,000 charity on going but if people get . i wish i'd take you people get. i wish i'd take you up on that plan you know what would be better for britain he did i mean is a bit of a freak show. i mean, this is a tourist attraction is there every single wednesday there is little crowd of i think the unemployed people they're obviously not contributing towards society is the public number one in london i don't know why he addresses like that. i don't know why he walks up and down making those silly noises, singing silly songs. but, you know, every time he he makes a beeline for
9:47 pm
he sees, he makes a beeline for me. know what? if people me. but you know what? if people like done decent, like me and you done decent, abiding citizens going to pay now taxes and that's result. now taxes and that's the result. yeah. a haircut and get yeah. get a haircut and get a real job. yeah, indeed . as the yeah. get a haircut and get a realsong yeah, indeed . as the yeah. get a haircut and get a realsong goes indeed . as the yeah. get a haircut and get a realsong goes ,ndeed . as the yeah. get a haircut and get a realsong goes , theyd . as the yeah. get a haircut and get a realsong goes , they said, the yeah. get a haircut and get a realsong goes , they said, great old song goes, they said, great to have you back . thank you so to have you back. thank you so much, leigh. but also coming up, is public satisfaction with the ailing health service falls to an all time low of just 29. 29% of us satisfied with the nhs is it finally time to end the blind worship of health service and scrap it for a modern alternative. that's the big debate with my superstar panel soon. but next, was it wrong for the actor guy pearce to issue pathetic, snivelling apology , pathetic, snivelling apology, simply suggesting non trans actors should be able to play trans characters? well, comedian and, free speech advocate, host of the trigonometry podcast constantine kissin out on this big culture war. straight after the . there's help for households. are you over state pension age?
9:48 pm
if your weekly income is below £182.60, or £278.70 if you live with a partner, you could be eligible for pension credit, even if you own your home or have savings. it's worth, on average, £3,500 a year and you could get help with heating bills and more, plus up to £900 in cost of living payments.
9:49 pm
9:50 pm
9:51 pm
break constantine kissin is tonight's outsider outsider , now one of outsider outsider, now one of australia's biggest actors , best australia's biggest actors, best known for his starring roles in the hit show neighbours and hollywood blockbuster has found himself in a lefty twitter storm after he add his views on. non trans actors starring in trans roles in his now deleted tweets . guy asked his followers if the only people allowed to be trans characters a trans vote. now, we also suggesting the only people trans folk can play are trans characters. surely will limit your career as an actor. that the point of an actor to be able to play anyone on outside your own world. totally fair question. you ask me. i think question. if you ask me. i think the that he's making is completely right . predictably, completely right. predictably, the woke gatekeepers of the internet weren't having any of it bombarding paris with leftwing bile that pushed the who actually played a drag queen. remember in the hit film priscilla queen of the desert
9:52 pm
into climbdown that into a snivelling climbdown that included three separate apologies . included three separate apologies. look at included three separate apologies . look at how included three separate apologies. look at how long it is from the aussie star. his quote, insensitive comments along with a reference to his family's privilege constantly. this is so , isn't it? because this is so, isn't it? because here's a big actor who you would think had the balls to actually stand up for his because he actually tweeted relatively sane controversial in today's climate point . and within 24 hours his point. and within 24 hours his climbdown is astonishing . it is climbdown is astonishing. it is an amazing world we live in a time where a statement of the bleeding obvious gets you attacked like on the internet. and of course , you know, i've and of course, you know, i've been thinking about this. you know, had a friend know, imagine you had a friend and got this new and she said, i've got this new boyfriend he's pretty nice, boyfriend and he's pretty nice, but something, but every time i say something, it doesn't agree with, he's threatens to leave me. and generally demands apology generally demands an apology until and he won't give up until
9:53 pm
he gets what? it's an abuse relationship with these people. and if your livelihood depends on these people, you'll always going to find that you're walking around on eggshells. so my advice to people always is if you're this position is try you're in this position is try get it. you don't want get out of it. you don't want your lovely dependent these your lovely dependent on these people because never pure people because never be pure enough. never woke enough. you'll never woke enough. you'll never woke enough. they will always find some you've got that used some that you've got that used to absolutely acceptable until about 3 minutes that now about 3 minutes ago. that now makes you phobe of kind and makes you phobe of some kind and they'll keep coming after you. so it's a it's sign of so i think it's a it's a sign of the times and. you know, the mistake he's made here is apologising, in my opinion, because it just doesn't end well in this we've seen in our and we this we've seen that previous cases. that with previous cases. but what chilling about what i find so chilling about this, constantine, is if you are an actor, basically of any level of fame in any western country around world, you're looking at this case of guy pearce. he's effectively been cancelled now by, the way mark my words, he's not going to get another big gig or a big netflix after this because even tiniest controversy
9:54 pm
means that you lose your work in hollywood . how craven and woke hollywood. how craven and woke they now are. so any other actor looking at this thinks i'm just going to keep my opinions myself ? well, that's why they're doing it. the whole point of cancelling people isn't just to punish the individual it is mainly actually, i think to send a signal to other people you better not get out of line. you better not get out of line. you better not get out of line. you better not say what you think, you better not ask. the guy didn't even say anything. just ask the question. i mean, that is level, but course you're is the level, but course you're right. the main point of right. i think the main point of what they're is to signal what they're doing is to signal to everybody else, keep your trap keep head down, trap shut, keep your head down, don't challenge this new orthodoxy. this is a religion that must not be questioned. then you're so right. even just prompting a debate, asking question in 2023 will get you cancelled in hollywood . it's so cancelled in hollywood. it's so shocking. and can we actually just tackle issue itself constantly because this is one that i'm so passionate about. i cannot believe that we're now
9:55 pm
saying to actors , you can no saying to actors, you can no longer as any character unless they have all of your characteristics your background, your skin colour, your hair colour, your sexuality . is that colour, your sexuality. is that what dark skin ? constantine are what dark skin? constantine are they actually saying ? if you're they actually saying? if you're white and straight can only play white and straight can only play white and straight if you are a minority, if you're trans, you can play a non trans character , can play a non trans character, you're black, you can play a white character. it like we're developing to different sets of rules and society well, who knows? dan because the rules change every day. and what was fine. yesterday is no longer okay today. but i think the main thing that should say here is , thing that should say here is, you know, people like you and people like me get accused of not being liberal. i actually thought the whole point of being liberal that people are free to do different things and whatever they believe and then try different options and so on. and to , the reason i oppose all to me, the reason i oppose all of this is to me. it's the most
9:56 pm
liberal thing in the world. there is a small people who there is a small of people who get everyone else get to tell everyone else how they ought behave, what they ought to behave, what movies and not act, movies are attacked and not act, and what opinions supposed to have and as in this case, what questions they're allowed to ask in public . this is an in public. this is an extraordinarily ill liberal ideology, and that's why i think some of us call it a religion or, a cult, because it seeks to impose its values on everybody else . and the thing i think else. and the thing i think a lot of people find themselves in trouble with, if you're not paying trouble with, if you're not paying attention to this on a daily you know what daily basis, you know what the rules because they change rules are because they change every day. yeah and you know what the trans community is itself disservice here because itself a disservice here because if you want to bring attention and positive attention to your community, then you want big names taking on trans roles. it did so much for the gay community in the nineties when big straight actors like tom hanks started being prepared to play gay hanks started being prepared to play gay characters , it made it play gay characters, it made it feel more mainstream, more acceptable . so actually in the
9:57 pm
acceptable. so actually in the end, the woke eat themselves and they do themselves a huge time. one thing we should say before we move on is i don't think it's to blame this on the trans community. i think it's a small minority of activists who are doing this well i'm sure you doing this as well i'm sure you agree. but i that's an agree. but i think that's an point make. but i absolutely point to make. but i absolutely agree with that. but i think these who do this are these jokesters who do this are actually the trans actually doing the trans community disservice community a huge disservice right. they're hurting trans people by, advocating this people by, advocating all this nonsense that i don't think most trans people subscribe to. and as well there plenty as you well know, there plenty of who speak out of trans people who speak out very clearly against sort of rubbish. and i hope they continue so that their community doesn't actually get damaged by all this idiocy. constant acas and thank you so much . and we and thank you so much. and we are back . tomorrow's newspaper are back. tomorrow's newspaper front pages , the media buzz and front pages, the media buzz and jim davidson straight after this

as £150,000 of pulp and holding back on the virtues sickly. but isn't the real truth that the totally absurd overreaction to the pandemic was the catalyst for the nhs as woes? the irony is that the obsession to protect the nhs during covid remember that i'll never forget it ended being the very thing that's brought it to its knees . so brought it to its knees. so dominic samuels, i think it's for the country to have a fundamental debate , it needs to fundamental debate, it needs to be a bipartisan debate about the nhs. that's the only way it's going to work. but you say there needs to be a referendum on the future of the nhs . what do you future of the nhs. what do you mean? yeah, because when it comes to that are so pivotal like this , i think in terms of like this, i think in terms of it's important , similar to the it's important, similar to the right of our membership of the european union , the nhs has european union, the nhs has become a representation of
10:09 pm
britain. it's sort of a patriotic part of what we mean as a country because so many other countries do not have a health that's free at the point of use, but many others do and they run more effectively than ours. so we have to start being honest about that don't we. yeah mean many of the countries do have similar health services for example, countries in there example, in countries in there is sort of a privatised element of it . people have forms of of it. people have forms of health insurance . for example, health insurance. for example, in france that's subsidised the government. but you know, the with the nhs it's only going to get worse as our population increases, as our population ages and the problems that people have change and the nhs quite clearly isn't up to speed. so i think there should be two opfions so i think there should be two options for people. you want to see our health service to an insurance based model or do you want it to still remain free at the point of use? and what caveats do you want with the matthew does? isn't it the of your party life for fetishising the nhs such an extent that now
10:10 pm
all political parties are too terrified to actually have an honest debate about it and the solution is just pop more money, just pump more money. well seen. that doesn't work . the nhs has that doesn't work. the nhs has got to be scrapped . it know it's got to be scrapped. it know it's got to be scrapped. it know it's got to be scrapped. it know it's got to start again . it doesn't got to start again. it doesn't have to be scrapped, but it has to be improved and i think what there is a huge danger the left and for the labour party, if it doesn't acknowledge pain doesn't acknowledge the pain that across the country that people across the country are suffering and the pain they feel about the nhs , i think they feel about the nhs, i think they need to one step ahead and need to be one step ahead and acknowledge although acknowledge that although the model the model is great, it needs reform, the model isn't great. matthew the model isn't great. matthew the model isn't great. why still spend less? i know it's national religion, but there are very sane people. i mean, you probably don't think she said but people who i respect, like ann widdecombe, have for years, this is have saying for years, this is not system. i'll you not a sane system. i'll tell you why. earth should i, why. why earth should i, multi—millionaire be able to go to the nhs ? s gp for free. other

to the nhs? s gp for free. other countries have much more sensible policies in place where you sensible policies in place where you pay sensible policies in place where you pay a small fee to go and visit your gp. it means you get amazing service. you like australia for example you get to bookin australia for example you get to book in with the doctor that want when you want and you're treated like a customer and then got lots more money left for. the saving cancer the life saving cancer treatments for example i think i think the key the key factor but what's what's what's insane that why why it's an ideological i think it's very hard to move from the model we've got to an insurance system without it with making sure nobody's behind. but the nhs has to change itself in a very practical basis. right. what is wrong with rich people going pay in to go to see the gp? why do you have a problem with that? i don't problem with the way the nhs works. they've already paid for it through their taxes. it's, it's the national contract that you've paid, paid it through national contract that you've paid, taxes. paid it through national contract that you've paid, taxes. yeahi it through national contract that you've paid, taxes. yeah but it through national contract that you've paid, taxes. yeah but inthrough national contract that you've paid, taxes. yeah but in orderjh national contract that you've paid, taxes. yeah but in order to your taxes. yeah but in order to do nhs got be do that the nhs has got be better maintain that national better to maintain that national contract between
10:12 pm
contract and the deal between but out it, frustrate but not run out of it, frustrate me so much because i make sure i don't go to see it chased gp because. i want to protect the nhs and i protect the nhs by paying nhs and i protect the nhs by paying see a private gp. but why i get so angry is that if example i if i needed cancer treatment, the nhs very often isn't in the best drugs because we're wasting much money. one wasted stupid appointments because of this mad connection that we have to a filler offical idea that everything should fair. i don't think i think it needs overhauling . i don't think needs overhauling. i don't think it needs completely change. i think the management system , the think the management system, the nhs we could, we could give the twice the amount of money that we do that the government and it would still fall short because yeah there's, there's middle management, there's corruption , management, there's corruption, there's wastage. i mean i know suppliers that used to have one tariff for the nhs and one for businesses and the nhs tariff
10:13 pm
was sometimes double the prices that businesses would pay because these idiots or these corrupt you know management teams would pay it. now it is a lot of the problem stem with the nhs and. look, the tories have made many mistakes over the last years, but blair and brown signed the nhs to some unaffordable loans. i forget what they're called now . the what they're called now. the scheme that they some hospitals large parts of their budgets go these loans that they cannot afford . we have hospitals that afford. we have hospitals that are still they've got another ten years to pay to these loans from these schemes . now i love from these schemes. now i love the fact that i can go to the nhs for free and so can anyone else why ? no. this is what else why? no. this is what i don't understand because i had nothing . yeah, but it's going to nothing. yeah, but it's going to give you treatment when you really need the nhs. right. and that's why. i just honestly feel
10:14 pm
like we need to have an honest debate about this and we actually have to lose the way the most you know connection we have to the idea everything being free. i know what you're saying there. but again as you said in the earlier, a lot of the problems stem from us becoming the national covid service . over the last few service. over the last few years. we've we've got a waiting list of 7.3 million people now are cmo's and our health officers have to take some sort officers have to take some sort of responsibility for that . but of responsibility for that. but instead we gave them yeah, we gave them a world, but it's a mess and we all, we all are a opposen mess and we all, we all are a opposer. at the time i opposed the nhs receiving the victoria cross for that reason . but look cross for that reason. but look i think we need to have a national some it's got and whether ends up in a referendum or not i don't but i think there does need to be a bi debate about the nature . yes, but about the nature. yes, but that's never going be that. would we know what we're voting for if the wrong answer comes
10:15 pm
out? oh, there you go. in a now finally live loud mouth. angela rayner more than she bargained for at pmqs when going on the attack against raab, who's previously accused of bullying civil servants. watch deputy prime minister knows first hand the misery call posed by thugs and their behaviour. so can ask him how under his new anti social behaviour does he think more police will be brought to justice by the speaker ? i can justice by the speaker? i can reassure the house. i've never called scum . called scum. i think writing to schieffer's face at the end and said it all, there should be no one did if you don't remember. here's why labour's deputy leader was forced grovelling apology forced into a grovelling apology in for going on grass and in 2021 for going on a grass and aggressive where she did
10:16 pm
aggressive rant where she did use that about all we use that word about all we cannot get any worse than the politician score over phobic phrases. soldier is . the one out phrases. soldier is. the one out of five, so get back . long so of five, so get back. long so what's said about vile politicians in glasshouses ? politicians in glasshouses? matthew lanza. adam brookstone and savills do stand by because coming up in the media buzz is jake rowling right to say that children being allowed to swap genders is one of the biggest medical scandals of the past century? my superstar panel will be back to thrash that one out soon. but next, with the duke of delusion lashing out his family just as his father kicks off his first state visit as king is reopening old wounds a bad idea ahead of may's coronation plans. 11 certainly think so. prince harry's , biographer, live with harry's, biographer, live with me in the studio straight after

president at the brandenburg gate, a national symbol of peace and unity, there's little of coming from his treacherous son, prince harry, currently in london for yet another battle with british media. the duke of sussex has accused the royal family of information from him about phone hacking because they didn't want him to bring a legal claim against. the press following this predictable attack from harry king, will surely be feeling vindicated . surely be feeling vindicated. that snubbed meeting his that he stopped meeting his son before flying to germany. he said he was too busy and very much support that i'm delighted to be joined now by prince harry's biographer angela levin . angela biographer angela levin. angela this is all so crazy. now isn't it? harry said he was far too scared for his security to come to the uk , be at the coronation. to the uk, be at the coronation. but he's prepared to turn up in a taxi , in a taxi for a legal a taxi, in a taxi for a legal heanng a taxi, in a taxi for a legal hearing that he doesn't even
10:22 pm
need be. yes, the big question is why is he really ? why do you is why is he really? why do you think? i can't believe it is to support to the other . it think? i can't believe it is to support to the other. it is in the it's a nonsense. i think the first thing is that he wants to beat his father this was going to be the first few days that he was in france. and it's first outing abroad after being becoming king. very, very important . should be respected . important. should be respected. and he's come there because . he and he's come there because. he knew he would make the front page. knew he would make the front page . so he says he's really in page. so he says he's really in the headlines and it used to do didn't he was yeah but also say saying i'm the one on the front pagei saying i'm the one on the front page i should be because he's got a very weird feeling now that he should running the royal family he needs to fix it he says. family he needs to fix it he says . but that's not who the says. but that's not who the other one, harry. another one? no.and other one, harry. another one? no. and i'll come to that in one second. just just quickly to pick on that point, do you
10:23 pm
think, harry believes that he should be? i think he does, should be? king i think he does, yes . think he wants to crush yes. think he wants to crush this monarchy and take over with meghan, but that means meghan will be in charge . hallelujah. will be in charge. hallelujah. sorry well, i interrupted. what is your thought? the other one is your thought? the other one is that meghan has sent him to because he wouldn't do anything that she didn't agree to, to see whether he would be allowed back in america because of the drugs . and if he wasn't, well , . and if he wasn't, well, something else might happen . but something else might happen. but it's a test run . think our it's a test run. think our nafion it's a test run. think our nation to see that. yes. whether he can do that. and the third thing is that he needs to feel that his worth and that he's strong and that he's this country needs him. i mean, he a few quotes so it just extraordinary like i love this country that because of the crime you know associated newspapers which bring out the mail in mail on sunday i fear it will collapse. it will be
10:24 pm
crushed. you know , the guns and crushed. you know, the guns and the conspiracies theorist, hasn't he? i mean, this is properly nuts. yes, it is nuts because if he loved the country , why did he say he didn't like it and go to america? i mean, he's very very muddled. everything about him is contradictory. like you said at the beginning, that he he doesn't he wants huge amount safety, but comes in in an ordinary taxi and he looks so smug . did you see the pictures smug. did you see the pictures of him walking in to the law courts ? he looks so smug because courts? he looks so smug because he's is by the way, look look at this . look at he's is by the way, look look at this. look at this. don't you find it ironic harry was slagging off his brother, prince william, for his baldness in the autobiography spare and i'm saying perhaps that was a silly thing to do. yes. looking at images lost a lot his hair quite recently hasn't which have sympathy for yes i think he's very difficult to that as a man of william's age but i just thought harry was the one that
10:25 pm
had to go william for losing it. yes. but he was awful because he said now he's lost all his hair and. pleased to see that he looks far than my mother. my mother, our mother. and what a cruel thing to say to somebody thatis cruel thing to say to somebody that is god's punishment. he's lost a step. it's gone a lot . lost a step. it's gone a lot. the other thing is, angela, we have to point out that associated denies all of these claims . one of the private claims. one of the private investigators that harry's are relying on has recanted all of his evidence. so, look, i don't want to prejudge anything, but the point is, this case seems to be falling apart anyway. harry seems to have a weird obsession with the british press. why does he not just go and live his life happily in the us like he said he wanted to? instead, he's obsessed with destroying the free in great britain. it is totally bizarre . this is one of totally bizarre. this is one of his aims , huge aims. and he said his aims, huge aims. and he said before that, you know , one of my
10:26 pm
before that, you know, one of my dufiesl before that, you know, one of my duties i mean, he does it as if he's the only person who can do this sort of thing is to wipe this. no, the press that actually are so criminal . but actually are so criminal. but it's not just criminals. they don't they just write stories about that he doesn't like. yeah, well the exact plea is free speech and it's got nothing to do with him. he's really almost lost citizen of the uk anymore . he's living over there. anymore. he's living over there. what is he messing around with us? it's just not his business, by the way, you know , famous by the way, you know, famous people, famous and powerful people, famous and powerful people trying to control the media is new and all the lefties who love they should actually start realise what his real aims are here. it is too new to the british media that is terrifying in a democracy. look we obviously respect the british royal family but they are a pubuc royal family but they are a public institution. they have to be held to account by journalists and harry has to be held to account by journalists as well . angela, just a word
10:27 pm
as well. angela, just a word about king charles, because i actually thought it was very brave monarch to say to brave of monarch to say to harry, you know what, i've had enough. i well, he can't he can't have seen him. it would have been a most terrible error because whatever he would have said to harry than, you know, what a shame raining. he would have kept to sell and he can't afford do that. and if it started with asking for one apology, he would sit running through a of apologies that he wants in great detail and particular clearly he wants an apology for which most of us can't understand . and that's can't understand. and that's because she was so welcome . and because she was so welcome. and i think the for a single second, let me honest with you, angela, she should be apologising to and william, meghan owes the royal family an apology , not the other family an apology, not the other way around. yes, she actually owes the people of britain an apology to. what she's claimed that all racist when actually
10:28 pm
loved having her part of our royal family, we celebrated . and royal family, we celebrated. and i think it's absolutely unforgivable the way that she allowed both philip and the queen elizabeth ii to die while spread around this nasty rumour that the royal family was racist, which prince harry had since had to walk back. so actually if anyone should be apologising , it's meghan to us. apologising, it's meghan to us. to charles. to william to kate. yeah, but she should apologise because she did that. it was racist and she left this hanging over for over a year, which upset the senior and also this time because know the queen died. yes you know, the queen would have heartbroken by that. and know who else should apologise. oprah winfrey apologise. oprah winfrey apologise for her bad because she did well she didn't question . no, no. it was a conversation it wasn't an interview. you know as much as i do that if you if you interview someone , you
10:29 pm
you interview someone, you should ask several questions in same sphere to get the full truth . but if you just hear that truth. but if you just hear that and go, oh, like that, you know that's not it was good journalism was a decent job. and you know, if you're interviewed, your best mate, that's going to happen. look, fascinating stuff angela we will speak to angela levin we will speak to you next week but coming up eight cancelled after future eight i'm cancelled after future bbc pointless nish bbc pointless presenter nish kumar brands an asian c word. why does british fashion corporation keep giving nasty like him a platform? well probably comedian jim davidson is going to speak out live on this in the studio very shortly. but next to, the media buzz. does j.k. rowling have a point when she says allowing kids to change gender is a medical scandal? why panel get stuck into that straight after the .

thing to behold . in what could thing to behold. in what could only be described as rowling's most personal interview ever , most personal interview ever, the harry potter author hits out at extreme politics, including ideology and the intolerance of the left . so think that the left the left. so think that the left is making a tremendous mistake in espousing this of, in my view , quasi religious, incredibly sort of witch hunting behaviour . i've been shocked by the positions that publishing has taken. if publishers for nothing else, they should stand plurality of views and the institutions that i have definitely lost faith in are educational institutions . who i educational institutions. who i think have taken a very dogmatic position on this and are shutting down debate freedom of thought . absolutely and as we've thought. absolutely and as we've come to expect the world's most influential feminist refused to be silenced on. the dangers of trans extremism , particularly trans extremism, particularly when it comes to chill children. we've seen thousands of%
10:35 pm
increase in young women trying to escape physical bodies. should we not be why that's happening? i genuinely think that we are watching of the worst medical scandals in a century, and i would proponents of gender identity ideology, who are so militant, who are so term, don't know debate. i would ask them, what if you are wrong 7 ask them, what if you are wrong ? brave. powerful in those comments following the recent decision by the nhs to shelter the controversial tavistock gender clinic for children not to report concluded it was not safe and stated that other mental health issues were overshadowed when patients raised the issue of . gender. so raised the issue of. gender. so one of the worst medical scandals in a century dominique samuels, do you agree? i would completely agree. and i it's close to abuse of vulnerable people because many times with these individual believe they're in the wrong body. there are
10:36 pm
other mental issues at play and. of course it's always easier to ignore the possibility of the underlying issues which you feel so uncomfortable your body that you want to remove your body parts. now, that's an extreme shame road to actually want to go down, to feel more comfortable within yourself. and we need to ask why we going wrong as a society . well young wrong as a society. well young people want to effectively mutilate themselves order to make themselves feel comfortable being who they are. that's failure in our society number one. but it's also a failure in regards to these doctors, a medical profession are not doing that. you diligence and a just accepting this at face value. perform surgeries giving these life changing hormones and you know like j.k. rowling . most of know like j.k. rowling. most of the children that feel they are trans most of and studies show they actually grow out of it. and so these things forever and she raised really important
10:37 pm
point. what if you are wrong. so many people though but it's too late when they've already had parts of their body removed. they can't reproduce and they're left feeling in even worse than before. that's why so many of these and doctors are these hospitals and doctors are actually detransition . actually sued by detransition. but matthew, as you say , j.k. but matthew, as you say, j.k. rowling needs to stop and pause before tweeting . what do you before tweeting. what do you mean ? i just think the whole mean? i just think the whole debate has got to become really, really unpleasant. i mean, i think that some of the tweets that j.k. rowling presses, every tweets on just adding fuel to the fire. but i think there's i she's a voice that we lose a legitimate point. absolutely and i worry that they those some of their legitimate points get lost because she because the debate has so angry. but i think that what happened tavistock was absolutely scandalous . and it's absolutely scandalous. and it's quite right that the that it's been closed down the and that it's properly i think thought through how we look after people who are questioning their gender
10:38 pm
identity. but adam brooks i think what we have learned from jk rowling over the past few weeks is she's not going to pause she's not someone i think she's a hero . ignoring the left she's a hero. ignoring the left now and this is her life's mission. she's a hero. she does not care . people think and it not care. people think and it needs people in society, especially big followings, to stand up and, speak out. this is unconscionable . but there is unconscionable. but there is a reason why diagnosed these diagnoses of gender dysmorphia is exploding . there's a reason is exploding. there's a reason for that is because it's being pushed down our throat in the media is being pushed down kids throats at school. you know that this is somehow just a really everyday occurrence where someone needs to change their identity . at the end of the day, identity. at the end of the day, there a couple of people in america that are highlight chloe cole . she had a breast removed cole. she had a breast removed 15 layla jane the sign removed her breasts at 13. both are taking legal action against the clinic . they say that they were clinic. they say that they were
10:39 pm
coerced . and if they didn't , the coerced. and if they didn't, the parents are told if they didn't do this, they might commit suicide. this is terrible. that's not that's not now. should canadian study showed 82% of boys grew out of their related identity when they become adults, of course. and in this country , keira bell was the this country, keira bell was the very brave woman who took the tavistock clinic to court she won. then she lost, tavistock clinic to court she won. then she lost , then she won. then she lost, then she won. then she lost, then she won. overall when it was shut down. and of course she has transitioned and has all of the after—effects of that mutilation. kids do not have the mental capacity to make these decisions themselves . so we have decisions themselves. so we have to start looking at the parents. well, and i almost feel that some parents, these liberal people in society almost it trendy to have a trans kid or a kid that does become like an accessory. i think there's a problem for the left when you know when rowling has been turned into a hate figure some on the far left this is a woman who was a massive x for
10:40 pm
£1,000,000. look at how you have treated her at least . yeah. i'm treated her at least. yeah. i'm struggling to work out how this has become a left versus right issue . well, what was issue. well, what was fascinating is we had kelly keane on the show last night. who of rosie parker treated terribly in new zealand. and she said, just like j.k. ronning, she used to be on the left and it's issues like this actually that about the that make them realise about the intolerance the left. but intolerance of the left. but look, i want to move on because. hbo's the world of show business with simply in the with rock simply rocked in the early this morning with early hours of this morning with the and very unexpected the shocking and very unexpected news myself, broadcaster news that myself, broadcaster and , had unexpectedly and performer, had unexpectedly passed away. aged just 67 during the glittering and 30 year immediate career that range from presenting tv talk shows to pie in—ring performances as his alter lily savage, the boy birkenhead quickly became a household name, telling fans as high as the queen consort herself. in a heartfelt tribute today, the royal family's official twitter account wrote on behalf of camilla, saddened

to hear of the death of paul o'grady, who worked closely with her majesty in support of bassey, providing loads of, laughter many wacky tailed laughter and many wacky tailed memories as well as decades charity work on behalf of his beloved feline friends. o'grady won nation's hearts with his won the nation's hearts with his wicked of humour and wicked sense of humour and infamous filter , infamous lack of filter, perfectly evidenced in this brilliant exchange with alan carr . i think brilliant exchange with alan carr. i think people in industry are far more interested in what. they call a—listers the way of . they call a—listers the way of. yes. soon enough, someone from katie. yeah. and some young kids. just on a film. yeah. you know , can't mention their love know, can't mention their love life, their plastic surgery, their alcoholism or anything . their alcoholism or anything. oh, yeah . they go on about the oh, yeah. they go on about the classics . yeah. and our fellas classics. yeah. and our fellas and you, which, you know, because , you know, they took because, you know, they took basically a lot animation. and i think if i was being 15 million, i can definitely shut off . oh i can definitely shut off. oh we're going to miss them . going we're going to miss them. going to miss them a lot. shame on the

bbc radio two, by the way that paid tribute today i mean just taken away o'grady show in the months before his death which was really unnecessary blow the listeners didn't want it and i think they should have just kept their mouth shut today if i'm completely honest. dominic samuels and brookes lasser, thank you so much . coming up, thank you so much. coming up, have the lib dems lost their final shred of dignity with their latest stunt in the local election? a win for them tonight be more than likely the one in next year's election. as we reveal greatest britain reunion, jackass but first, after guest presenter on the bbc's pointless quiz show nish kumar brands rishi sunak and asian c—word . rishi sunak and asian c—word. why does the british bashing corporation keep giving these vile lefties platform to spout hate ? comedian jim davidson out hate? comedian jim davidson out live in the studio. jim davidson here in just 2 minutes. so don't go anywhere .

10:44 pm
10:45 pm
it's time now for an cancelled and this is where britain's top commentators are. you know, who's here is out on controversial issues without the of to get stuck out just the race the media now jim davidson you've got to be serious because is a serious story of the left lovers in the liberal left and oh, this is what my normal look is. is that what it is? yeah that long do you grow it before you get chiselled shave every day. but do you. it just comes. yes. oh look i've got to take this seriously because it's very, very shocking what has happened tonight. just seen this right . the comically challenged right. the comically challenged left nish kumar has made crashed crass tirade where he brands out prime minister. the asian c—word. this is on a podcast, but he's about to get a big job
10:46 pm
at the bbc this, i assume if an asian man became prime minister, he'd be nice. no i'm not know that. he'd be nice. no i'm not know that . we're in leicester, a city that. we're in leicester, a city with a large asian community. but statistically lot of you must be. and i want you to know if you're a young asian. you too can be prime minister. can you believe that the bbc has just given him a big job and he's rishi sunak an asian c—word ? rishi sunak an asian c—word? well, i mean. well, first of all, nish kumar and, i don't know what's the matter with him. it's not like him to be funny, is it? you know, so bbc have taken an even bigger now and they're all showing their true colours. bbc saying okay colours. the bbc is saying okay , can what you want now. , you can say what you want now. now lineker has blurted out his colours. andrew marr well. colours. andrew marr as well. now nish what is this? kumar now nish, what is this? kumar about? i don't quite get it. i think he just. he will say anything to try and distract the fact that he's not funny and gets bread rolls thrown. well the is i think it's the thing is i think it's against the trade description
10:47 pm
that's actor calling him a comedian media. yeah i mean i've heard him say a funny thing and that just feels like racist abusei that just feels like racist abuse i can all seriousness. yeah if you were calling someone an c word, jim, you would an asian c word, jim, you would be in private. i do, be cancelled in private. i do, but about kumar , i but it's about nish kumar, i just cancel . okay, let's go to just cancel. okay, let's go to a commercial break. so you log eddie izzard. although apparently it is now known as susie. susie is okay has hit out this week at right tweeting. yeah, i know who is talking and if he had you in mind. but watch these more left than right. right. okay. i want to set up comedy so yeah, yeah, yeah. because it is the right wing comedians said to be so sexist and racist comedians who we thought would gone away but are still there and there's still some circuit to that there's some circuit to that there's some people are still don't like. people that racism is about, but it's about some kind of really good comics. you just happen to vote conservative. yes
10:48 pm
