break right now from work. joining us from his car, nic sumners for a "fox & friends" exclusive. nic, so great to have you here. you are feeling the frustration a lot of americans are feeling. what drove you to that point? why did you do that? >> well, first i want to say thank you for having me on, brother. i was very frustrated. you know, it's very frustrating seeing these handouts being given out and the prices of everything increasing. and when i go home at the end of the day, i'm still struggling. i'm doing everything i need to do, and it is extremely frustrating. and like the handouts and the foreign aid given out, why would you water your neighbor's flowers while your house is burning down? there is a serious problem that needs to be fixed here. >> steve: great point. you know, and we have watched the video. it's been seen millions and millions of times. and i know you came back afterwards and you apologized for inappropriate language but you were really frustrated.

>> yeah. i apologize. >> steve: you did, indeed. you said that you were essentially sick of both parties. and you said you voted in the last presidential the right way. we don't know exactly what that means. but joe biden needs your vote. you are a young guy. he needs your vote. at this point, are you priced out of another biden administration? >> i mean, i just think that these handouts are not going to continue to work anymore. the student loan forgiveness, these things that they're just handing out are not going to buy them the votes that they need. it's very clear that it's getting desperate. and i just don't know how they expect to continue to push joe biden. a lot of people are realizing that it's nothing but an issue to have him in office. it's unsustainable. i don't know how they expect to get around this. >> brian: so, nic, tell me your background. what are you doing now or what have you done you? said you are getting paid three times the minimum wage. >> you know, i work in the car

industry. came straight out of high school. didn't go to college because the price of, you know, student loans are ridiculous and every year the price keeps increasing. and even after college i would still have to pay off those loans and be, you know, stuck in a hard spot like every other american is right now. but, you know, i came right out into the workforce. i'm trying to my best. i'm doing everything i can it seems to not be enough in this current economy. it is absolutely ridiculous. >> lawrence: nic, what do you want from our leaders? what is your perfect candidate? what issue do they need to tackle first to win your vote? >> i want somebody who puts america first. that's -- that is the end of the story. there's a lot of issues happening right now. we are more divided than ever. it is -- you know, it's -- like i said, it's on fire. i want somebody to put us first and prioritize the americans. we need the help right now. the average american. >> lawrence: sounds like you support donald trump.

work. i was at break. i recorded the video. i was pretty angry and i just posted it. not expecting to get, you know, where i am now. >> brian: so, nic, what does it do to you when you see these illegal immigrants coming here, staying in a hotel getting three free meals and now in new york city they are getting debit cards and if you have a family of five they even give you more so you get $350 to go wherever you want. is that the type of thing that gets under your skin? >> i have to say it must be nice. because, me, as a birth right citizen are not getting any of the accommodations that these illegal immigrants are getting. people in my comments have said if i'm struggling so bad just leave the country and come in through the border and i will be better set than i am now. >> brian: pretty were good advice. >> lawrence: you know, nic, some of the folks on the political left said you need continue to crease the minimum wage. do you feel like that's the answer to this? >> increasing wages the corporations realize they have to price more.

they have to charge more for everything else. realistically, higher minimum wage, although i believe it should be higher because it should be a livable wage, i don't believe that that would help anybody out. in the long run i think it would be more detrimental than beneficial. >> steve: right now you are america's number one cable morning news show. people are watching that kid in virginia talking from his car on break right now. what do you wants -- suddenly you are empowered. what do you want the federal government or the government or our leaders to do for you? i know you were complaining you cannot afford to get an apartment because it's out of your range right now. what can they do for you right now? >> i have been asked that a lot. i think the genuine answer is that there needs to be reform in our current system. i think that there are a lot of issues with lobbying with insider trading that it's so corrupt. like i mentioned in the video it's a uniparty. i feel regardless which side i

vote their focus is not on americans right now. it's so frustrating. i think there needs to be serious change, soon. and maybe make it less beneficial to be a career politician. because you know, they get comfortable and they like that fat paycheck they get. >> brian: term limits. >> why work when you are guaranteed everything. >> i think about the student loan forgiveness you said i'm not going to go to college and earn money. now everybody took out loans forgiven. he thinks is he winning over people by defying the supreme court. but he is alienating people like you, right? >> yeah. exactly. and where's the money coming from? our national debt is what is it $34 trillion now? it's unsustainable. >> lawrence: i know you got to go back to work. before you go, a lot of young people watching you right now. they feel the same way. and there's a lot of pressure from both -- more so from the left that they have to vote for joe biden because he's the one that's going to protect democracy. so, to all those young people that are out there, who would

corrected. there is also. this the 16-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly pushing a woman down church stairs and robbing her in new york city over the weekend. here you can see the victim who is in the hospital in critical condition. police say the suspect stole her purse and car after pushing her. he is facing a grand larceny charge. donald trump will meet with house speaker mike johnson at mar-a-lago this afternoon. the two will discuss a range of issues, including fisa reauthorization and aid to ukraine. they are also set to unveil new election integrity legislation. target is now using secret a.i. powered cameras to crack down on shoplifting at self-checkout lanes. the new system uses cameras and sensors to detect items that shoppers did not scan and notify them. it's called true scan. system to catch repeat offenders. the updated scanners are expected to reach all stores by the end of the year.

afghan national with ties to terror is now in custody according to dhs. this after he was apprehended at our southern border and released not once but twice into the u.s. madeleine rivera joins us now. maddy? >> madeleine: good morning, brian. it took about a year before this afghan migrant was taken back into u.s. custody. but homeland security officials say immigration officials did not release him knowing he had terror ties. nbc first reported mohammed kharwin was initially arrested in march 2023 near san ysidro,

california after crossing illegally at southern border. officials say at the time customs and border could not prove he was on the terror watch list. he was referred to immigrations atticus toms enforcement and released on alternatives to detention. then as our bill melugin reports in february 2024, he was officially added to the fbi terror watch list after new concerning information was developed on him. ice was notified and ice arrested him in s san antonio, texas nbc reports the data base indicates kharwin is a member of hig group responsible for attacks in afghanistan killed nine american soldiers and civilians 2013 to 2015. kharwin's court hearing took place two weeks ago. during his appearance dhs prosecutors allegedly did not tell the federal immigration judge that he was a possible national threat only arguing that he was a possible flight risk. dhs officials tell fox they are limited by what they can tell the judge.

the judge ordered him released on bond. again, dhs now says kharwin is back in federal custody and his next court date is in 2025. brian? >> brian: all right. thanks so much. we will follow that story. 32 minutes before the top of the hour. another fox news alert. the american embassy in jerusalem issuing a security warning for u.s. citizens there as israel is reportedly expecting a direct imminent attack by iran that could come within the next 4 # hours. iran has publicly threatened retaliation for the idf strike in syria last week that took out a couple of their military commanders. but sources in tehran tell the "wall street journal" that no final plan attack has been made yet. how do we make sense of this? let's ask fox news senior strategic analyst, retired four-star general jack keane. general, how quick could this attack happen and what would it look like, do you think, if it does? >> well, it could have happened already, obviously. i mean, had the means to do it. i think they are very much enjoying the psychologic impact that this is having not only on israel but the world at large.

and spinning up the united states. i think we're taking the precautions we should be taking, you know, to protect their own people and certainly israel is doing that i mean, iran has their finger on the trigger here. this much we do know. i mean, iran doesn't want any escalation of this that would lead to a war with israel of the united states. and that -- that has been the fact from the beginning of the war in gaza when they operationalized all of their proxies to join in that effort that hamas started. and this administration has never recognized that iran's vulnerability is that they do not want war with the united states or israel. and that is why we have advocated from the outset if you want to shut down these proxies, take out the irgc assets in iran because iran does not want to escalate. you can use that as leverage against them. they have a weak air force. they have a weak navy. they've got a lot of troops on

their arms. but they are not particularly well trained. nor are they particularly well-equipped. what they do have a lot of offensive missiles and drones. iran knows that war with them would destroy their regime economically and also they would likely lose it. so, the leverage has always been on the side of israel, the united states, and the west. but we absolutely refuse to use it. will an attack come? yes. they can't avoid the international publicity surrounding the taking down of the irgc headquarters in syria. that's just the reality. but, it will be a measured response and they don't want escalation as a result. >> brian: if it's a direct hit, that would be unique. they only houthi rebels israel and hamas. number two is i saw benjamin netanyahu in front of an f-16 yesterday say going they hurt us, we are going to hit right back with them. they know if they hit, they are going to get hit right back. so you know israel is capable of hitting inside iran. they know they are behind all

this. correct? >> >> oh, yeah, no doubt about it. and all the covert successful operations that israel has done, killing nuclear scientists, military leaders inside iran, blowing up the centrifuges in one of their major nuclear sites atan in 2020. iran never responded to any of that. that's the reality of this. they have always been very measured when they are dealing with israel. and likely to be here. they don't have much choice. they're going to have to do something in terms of an attack. the timing of it. and any of us can speculate that when that's going to happen. i'm sure they like the leverage they are getting psychological warfare that's happening in their favor right now. >> brian: famously, israel ignored ronald reagan they blew up the nuclear plant in iraq. then they did not get our cooperation. they blew up the syrian nuclear plant. now we told them not to go into wrath fall. benjamin netanyahu says i have

to go in there. there is two battalions there. do you think is he going to go in and would he be better off going sooner than later? >> well, i think he is going to go in when he is able to deal with the civilian population. he knows full well that he can't conduct that operation with all of those people there. that has to move. and that's going to take some time. i mean, i find it really quite appalling that when you listen to what the president said. he no longer agrees with any of israel's war aims. they have two. one is to get back the hostages. rescue them, or put military pressure on hamas so that they would negotiate a release of the hostages. president biden said go to an immediate cease-fire. that means a unilateral cease-fire without conditions and then begin the negotiations with hamas. no longer agreeing with military pressure on hamas. then the second departure deals with rafah itself. the war aim there is destroy hamas militarily, its

effectiveness and lily so they cannot conduct another attack again. and the president has pulled away from that and what he is accepting then is that the fighting battalions in gaza will remain intact as well as the leaders. and that means reattack at some point again. and nobody in israel agrees with that whatsoever. that is absolutely appalling. this is our closest ally in the rio de janeiro and we don't agree with their war aims now. it's stunning where we are. >> brian: netanyahu i don't want to get into politics but the whole country backs him going into rafah. there is no fracture there. the only problem is this president wants to win pick up the institute study of war new want to stay up to date what is happening in all of these conflict areas. thanks, general. have a great weekend. >> yeah, you and the team have a wonderful weekend. thank you. >> brian: you too. i'm going to tackle, this too. on one nation saturday night at
