9:00 am
1800651020 zero coventry direct redefining insurance. >> i'm paula reid in washington and this is cnn >> today on inside politics, the wild, wild west. that's where joe biden is heading as the person it kicks off a three-day campaign swing in nevada and arizona to battleground states that are critical to his path to reelection >> plus the >> power of a trump's endorsement. it's being put to
9:01 am
the test for the first time in a 2024 high-stakes republican primary in ohio today, that could ultimately determine which party controls the us senate. and donald trump is pushing a dangerous, anti-semitic trope plan. we, jews who vote for democrats vote is grail i'll talk to a jewish progressive congresswoman whose fathers to the holocaust about the power and perils of the former president's words. i'm dana bash actually, go behind the headlines and inside politics to, start today with the breaking news out of florida, peter navarro, a former top white house adviser to donald trump, turned himself into a federal prison in miami, where he'll serve a four-month sentence for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena. it's the first time an x white house official has been imprisoned for contempt of congress as expected, the scene was a spectacle because it
9:02 am
carries weight not only because of the precedent it sets, but also the legal and political stakes for donald trump and his current bid for the white house. cnn's randy k is live four is outside the federal prison in miami. randy >> either dana yeah, it was it was quite a scene here. he came out swinging. he spoke for about 30 minutes and for much of that time, dana, he railed against the democrats, the january 6 committee, the judge in his case, as you know, he was convicted in september after not complying with a pina from the house select committee, they wanted him to come testify and handover some documents. he refused to do so. and then he asked the supreme court, of course two let him remain free while he challenged that conviction, but they rejected that you did mention of course, that he is the form the first former white house official who's expected to now be behind bars for contempt of congress. he's expected to enter disturb about four months he said that this is going to
9:03 am
be harder on his family than him. he said he wasn't that scared heard of prison. but this is also some more of what he had to say at this news conference >> every person who has taken me on this road to that prison is a brilliant democrat and at trump haider, let me walk you through it it starts with the speaker nancy pelosi, who forms the j six committee blows away all the rules in properly constituted, unduly authorized and unlawful committee she puts on seven democrats every single one fact checking, every single one of those went after donald trump threw two impeachments and the russia hoax. >> and all they >> want to do is stop trump and dana right after that use conference, he got in his car with his lawyer and drove just down the road to >> the prison where he was going to meet a security guard. we are i told and they will
9:04 am
process him, take him in their car into the facility. i end and there won't be any photographs or anything like that. but then is officially in prison custody we're also told by his prison consultant that he is expected to remain there in for his time there in an air conditioned dormitory where there will be about 80 elderly inmates. he is 74 and navarro is also expected to have to take classes, work a job but his prison salton was telling us that he hopes that he would work a job inside given the warmer conditions here in florida, but certainly it's going to be a difficult time for him there. dana no question. and de for the history books, randy, thank you so much for that reporting. president biden is on his way out west to kick off a swing through battleground states their next hour hilt touched down in nevada. later he will visit arizona, the two states could be key to his path to winning a second term. and thing biden is focused on right now is to curing and boosting
9:05 am
latino support in those states. cnn's our lead times is live for us in las vegas. or let what's on the president's agenda today? >> well, dana, president biden is heading out west to give his reelection pitch to voters here in nevada and arizona as he's looking to defend the two states where he beat donald trump back in 2020. now, the presence of we'll start here in arizona, nevada before traveling on it arizona and then texas on thursday for a pair of fundraisers. but the president will start his day today up in reno meeting with campaign workers and volunteers before coming here to las vegas where his big pitch will focus on ways to make housing more for formable at a time when many americans are struggling with high mortgage mortgages in high rents and it's struggling also to even buy a first tone. but at the heart of president biden's pitch, while he is out here in the bus will be trying to appeal to latino voters. latino voters make up a sizable portion of the electorate, both
9:06 am
here in nevada and in arizona. and it comes as former president donald trump has tried to make some inroads within the community. so president biden is trying to shore up support with these groups ahead of the trip, he taped a pair of a spanish radio interviews where he has argued that former president trump's a language regarding to migrants his treatments language relating to latinos, a show that the president quote, despises that trump despises latinos, or the president's campaign is also released an ad today, trying to present a clear choice between biden and trump to latino voters arguing things about insulin, saying that that'll help latino grandparents in a way that trump's policies or have not the president a little bit later today will be heading to phoenix where he will launch the campaign paine's latinos koan biden harris, an initiative and organizing program to really try to mobilize latino voters. the campaign recognizes that work needs to be done within the latino community. which has typically made up a strong
9:07 am
portion of the democratic electorate. but that republicans have really tried to dig into in recent years. so they're laying that groundwork early, trying to reach out to those voters now, as they are expecting a very close contests in these two states heading into november, despises donald trump despises latinos some strong stuff. thank you so much for that. are lad appreciated. i wanted to talk more about all this with my great panel, cnn's eva mckend, politicos, olivia beavers, and margaret tell of, of axios. welcome back, olivia, i knew you when let's start by setting the table by looking at nevada first and the stakes given where the state has gone. i mean, recently on the presidential level, it has gone democratic. but if you look closer at every two years and even in the midterms but how close it has gotten, the senate at those only by less than a percentage point, governor, 1.5
9:08 am
and then if you look back in 2020, it was decided by little more than two-and-a-half percent. and if you go back, you can see it's changed just a little bit. when you look at the presidential excuse me, the governor and the senate race 2022, in particular, the fact that the senate race was decided by about 8,000 votes that is what the democrats and republicans are both looking at when they're looking at traveling to nevada and making the case that we deserved president biden is today. >> this is a real swing-state the economy has the ability or maybe the momentum to push it a little right? and that is even though democrats have long counted on latino voters to carry them over the line. and in nevada, i think it's about one out of five registered voters are latino in arizona could be as high as shares 1.4, who may go to the polls this year, latino vote is extremely
9:09 am
important in these two states. but democrats have been slowly coming to the realization the last couple of cycles that you can't just count on latino voters to punch the ticket and vote democratic. and housing, the price of daily goods. all these matters to all voters up, but they haven't really act among latino voters. and that's real pressure point that biden is going to have to deal with because you mentioned that we actually have the data on the percentage 2% rather of eligible voters who are hispanic and arizona, as you said now that of course, 25% nevada, 22% our let mentioned and the the new ad that the biden campaign has out. and i want you to listen to part of it and we'll talk about on the other side for our wellness insulin that cost trent. i seem a little or see into the dollars that is lead differentiate between joe biden, the donald trump first of all, the content which
9:10 am
talking about a bellows and meaning grandparents and talking about the >> cost of insulin. >> but also the fact that >> it was done in spanglish >> every other word >> is it is either english or spanish, which as one of our producers chris was saying today, it's really critical point when you look at the younger generation of latinos, many of them don't speak spanish as well as their grandparents. and this kind of language kind of combining english and spanish english and spanish really resonates. >> it's important, it's an important strategic choice that they've made myosins from speaking to organizers in arizona, though is that they're organizing strategy is less of a focus on the top of the ticket, less of a focus on selling president biden at the doors? and more talking about the importance of their organizing power, what they have been able to accomplish in the state locally and why strategically, it's important
9:11 am
to keep supporting democrats so they look at their democratic governor in arizona, for instance, and say that she has been able to stave off some of the most draconian immigration policies at the state level. that is what they're leaning on. not so much selling president biden himself, that's that's interesting and it makes sense you want to do it from the bottom-up, olivia, i remember being in nevada it right before the midterms in 2022 and i was going around door-to-door with the arm of the republican national committee that was new at the time, really trying to go after the hispanic vote and watching these people, these volunteers go up and talk to these potential voters. and i heard them say over and over, i have voted democratic in the past. i'm open to something else now it didn't turn out for the republicans in that particular senate race. the democrat won but it was a window >> certainly republicans have been trying that for some
9:12 am
years. if you look in florida, they've made inroads with latino and hispanic voters. but i think you're even seen that more broadly. i don't think it's any mistake that donald trump or president biden muse award despises in this language, because right now both presidential campaigns are fighting for that core group of voters. and president biden won about 24% of latino voters in 2020. and some polling suggests which democrats are a little bit dismissive of is that he's down to seven seven with them. and that is a huge jump. so he's doing these spanish ads. he's coming out with hard-hitting words and he's trying to separate himself, especially with this voting bloc compared to president donald trump. >> you mentioned housing and we cannot say this loud enough and strongly enough about how big of an issue it is nationally, but particularly in nevada. look at these numbers, the monthly income spent on rent,
9:13 am
23.5%. rent growth is down, income growth is barely and certainly doesn't come close to the spike in in the cost of living and the cost of housing. there >> you can't say it enough when economists talk about the economy, or when experts talk about the economy, they're talking about unemployment rate, how the stock market's doing long-term trajectories, consumer confidence, all this stuff when you ask voters at their proverbial kitchen table, what does the economy means? you they're talking about housing and the price of food and gas and goods. you got to live somewhere and you gotta eat. and that is the dividing line between upper middle-class and wealthy voters. a middle-class and working class voters. and the republican party has been fairly successful rebranding them selves during the trump years as the party that according the working class, working class messaging, housing and food are working class and middle class
9:14 am
issues. period paragraph. and it's important for biden to talk about it to show compassion. but i think voters want more than talk like what relief so they can pay the rent because they're not getting mortgages and 7%. i just want want to clarify, rent that graphic shows and i just want to make sure i clarify rent is falling just a bit, but it is falling. it's very expensive, but it is still very expensive. it's up from a very high point up just to switch gears a little bit eva we've talking a lot about the latino vote because it is such a big share of the vote in these two states were native american voters and this is another voting bloc that democrats have a very much relied on. and the question now is whether some of what we were talking about, inflation the economy in general is going to be a big issue. here's a story done on mpr back last month. biden doesn't have everybody's boat. he has a lot of work. he still has to do.
9:15 am
there's so much work that needs to be done with indian within an indian country. nothing's ever a lock in these past four years, things have gotten a lot more expensive to biden, has given a historic amount of money to indian country, but the cost of everything is a lot more. this is from a arizona voter in the san carlos apache tribe yeah. >> and so the ads might not work in small communities like this one, it's going to be a lot of retail politics and talking to community organizers one-on-one my sense is key to the strategy is talking about biden's record on students loan forgiveness on job creation, much less of a focus on him and the things that he has been able to achieve. and we'll continue to achieve if he's reelected. >> okay. everybody stand by. how much influence does a trump endorsement have been a gop primary these days? >> that's >> going to be put to the test today and erase that could sway the balance of power here in

9:21 am
going after one another in an incredibly acrimonious way. donald trump has loomed large in this race as well. this is the only race that he essentially has not cleared the field with his endorsement, but he did endorse cleveland businessman bernie moreno one of the candidates in this race. he's also endorsed by senator jd vance, who moreno lost two in 2022 and ohio representative jim jordan, the chair of the judiciary committee, also has endorsed bernie moreno in this contest matt dolan is a state senator from ohio. his endorsed by the other wing, if you will have this republican party governor mike to wind former senator rob portman have endorsed matt dolan and the competition between bernie moreno dolan has been so significant, it's been heated, it's been quite frankly, pretty nasty. hear 40 million have been spent on this race all of this worry some republicans who believe that senator brown could actually win in november if this race ends in a certain way, i caught up with governor mike 2y1, who actually lost to sherrod brown,
9:22 am
act in 2006. he had this to say about why it's so important to pick the right candidate >> ground is very widely he's been elected three times united states senate he been running for office for 40 years. he's very, very good campaigning. so he's gonna be tough to beat kennedy, beaten absolutely, absolutely matt dolan has by far the strongest person to do it >> so certainly this will be a test of the former president's strength as well. and ohio secretary of state frank larose, also running today. in fact, he voted behind me here just a few moments ago. he called out democrats for meddling in this race and his words, the super pac that is closely linked to senator schumer has been actually advertising here, promoting the candidacy of bernie moreno. so this definitely is a nasty contest here, but the outcome of this tonight, will certainly depend how competitive races in november. >> dana, fascinating, this race is absolutely one to watch and
9:23 am
we will be doing it along with you all day long into the evening. thank you so much, jeff appreciated. i panel is back to discuss this senate race and others happening on this election day in several states. let's stick though with ohio for now the question on another news channel to moreno okay. again, marino is the one backed by donald trump. was what does he want voters to know before they go to the polls? his answer was quite telling what is your message to voters? a final pitch, if you will >> it's pretty simple. president trump, jd vance, jim jordan have endorsed me by opponents, endorsed by the swamp brian o established and the editorial board of the liberal cleveland plain dealer here's what i've done. its, here's who likes me. >> i mean, the trump endorsement is pivotal. pivotal in an ohio republican primary.
9:24 am
i covered the last senate contests there, and a lot of the attacks waged against moreno that he is inauthentic, that he's fake. a lot of the comments that are dug up about him our in his business record, maybe when he took a more inclusive, left-leaning position republicans are weaponizing that against him. a lot of those comments were made about jd vance, who remember at one point was a never trumpers, but he still was able to eke out a win in that republican primary due to the power of the trump endorsed smith so he thinks that that's the most important thing that's all he wants to talk about and that's >> really one of the many reasons, but i think maybe the key reason today that we are so focused on this and that is what is the power of the trump endorsement right now in the middle of his effective general election campaign, i think republicans generally find donald trump's endorsement, especially as a big motivator among the grassroots. and so
9:25 am
that's what you see with them promoting it. lauren bowlby, it's promoting in her race. >> john maguire hi or who's competing events? bob good and virginia. that's what he's trying to achieve so that they can go back to these voters and say, donald trump is backing me. >> it's >> a kind of honor seal for them versus what they voted for or whatnot because the republican party, especially the grassroots base, is much more populist and in races like this, where it might be close, it could be maker break >> yeah, it was just say these both are and are being billed as proxy contest between maga and establishment was left with the establishment republican party, and the real question is, it's one thing to win a primary. it's another thing to win a general election. so what this all set it's enough for is if the former president carry some of these candidates across the finish line gets them on the general election ballot. the question is then we'll voters are more voters more likely to reject extreme candidates are inexperienced candidates, or are we going to wind up after november with
9:26 am
several more extreme where i experienced candidates. yeah. i mean, it is an open question. jeff mentioned that the democrats are playing in this primary as they have done in several other cases. and by playing, i mean, trying to boost the republican who they think is more beatable in the fall. let's listen to part of one of those democratic superpac adds >> public and bernie moreno is too conservative for ohio in washington marina would do donald trump's that's why trump endorsed marino, calling him exactly the type of maga fighter that we need. united states senate they've had success with this strategy. so this is why they're employing it again, they played in some house races, but their thumb on the scale to push the most conservative republicans in the primary. and then they were easier to beat. so that's the calculation year. i think that senator state senator dolan
9:27 am
would be probably more difficult in to take on an a general election. the challenge though, is that moreno is not always has not always been as conservative as he purports to be noun. and so he could always lean back on other iterations of who he has been in the past and dole that out in a general election? >> yeah. >> this is again, going to be really interesting to see how this plays out as the de goes on, as we get results tonight. thanks, great discussion coming up. retired top military leaders are going to be grilled today on capitol hill over the chaotic american withdrawal from afghanistan, a low point of the biden presidency >> backroom deals, cia secrets, affairs, bribery, corruption, prostitution >> there's so much more to the story. >> united states of scandal with jake tapper sunday at nine on cnn, sorry, body her knowing

>> the greatest danger they told about for >> a lifetime where you ground the champions have cvs soon a high-stakes hearing on the biden administration's withdrawal from afghanistan in 2021 >> two-and-a-half years after the bombing at the kabul airport, the event remains a stain on the administration's record. president biden has said he does not regret his decision to end america's longest war, but they chaotic and deadly way it happened. that moment struck a chord with voters. and president biden's approval rating fell below 50% right after that, and still hasn't bounced back next hour, the house foreign affairs committee will hear from two of the top military officials who oversaw the exit for more joint chiefs chairman mark milley and former commander us of us central command general kenneth
9:33 am
mackenzie, cnn's foreign liebermann, is falling. all of this at the pentagon. oren >> then this hearing starts in 30 minutes. so at 01:00 and as you pointed out, there'll be two of the top us commanders at the time the chairman of the joint chiefs general mark milley, as well as the commander of us central command. now, we have heard from both of these leaders before, including in congressional hearings about the afghan ms ten withdrawal. and they have both testified that they recommended to president joe biden keeping a small force of us troops there somewhere between 2,500.4500. they both say that the president listened to their opinion, as well as other opinions they felt they were heard, they felt they had the opportunity to present their position. the question then is, what is the difference with this hearing? we're expecting to start here in just a short bit. and the answer is, now they are both civilians, which means they are not bound by the same rules of what they can and cannot say as they were when they were in uniform, the top us general and the top general of central command. so the question is, do they try to use a bit of that freedom to go further and they're
9:34 am
discussions of what happened further in the criticism of how this all played out. and that's what we're watching for here as civilians. do they say more than they have said before, this hearing will be at the house foreign affairs committee. they're republican congressman michael mccaul has criticized the biden restoration for not only how the withdrawal itself played out and how it then quickly led to the collapse of the afghan military and the government. but also he has been very critical of the government for not taking responsibility and having some sort of accountability for the suicide bombing and the closing days of the withdrawal that led to the deaths of 13 us service members here, mccall talked last hour to wolf blitzer i think somebody needs to be held accountable. in what form that takes. we'll see where the evidence goes in this matter somebody has to say i'm sorry for your child being killed at abbey gate and that really hasn't happened. so i do think this will lead to accountability. it should back in september shortly after the

two-year anniversary of the withdrawal. and note that deadly suicide bombing, min called held a hearing with some of the family members of those killed in that attack. he said some of those family members will be here once again today. that hearing starting in just a short bit here, i will also point out that us central command conducted an additional investigation of the abbey gate bombing, interviewing some 50 more people, including about a dozen service members, who were not part of the original investigation. cnn has learned that investigation is complete as we wait to hear the conclusion itself. and of course, data and we wait to hear what we learn from this hearing now that millie and mackenzie are civilians and might be able to say a bit more. >> i didn't know that that's some great reporting and this is going to be a very important hearing coming up shortly. thank you so much or and appreciate it. >> coming up. new anti-semitic rhetoric from the presumptive presidential nominee of the republican party >> any jewish person that votes for democrats hey their religion. they ate everything

>> i actually think they hid israel. yes, i don't think they had i think it israel. add the democratic party hates israel. any jewish person that votes for democrats hates their religion. they hate everything about israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because israel will be destroyed >> let's recognize this comment for what it is a long-standing anti-semitic trope that the true allegiance for jews is to their religion rather than their country. it was used in nazi germany to justify the arrest, prosecutions and mass killings attempted extermination of the jewish people and trump has been pushing this trope for years. here's what he said in 2019 >> in my opinion, you vote for a democrat. you're being very disloyal to jewish people. and you're being very disloyal to israel. and only week people would say anything other than that >> in 2022, he posted us jews
9:42 am
have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in israel before. it is too late. and this past september, while attempting to wish american jews are happy new year one of the holiest days of the year, russia, shawna trump included this in his post quote, liberal jews who voted to destroy america and israel, because you believe false narratives that was, of course, just a few weeks before the horrific october 7 attack, where hamas terrorists slaughtered more than 1,000 innocent people in israel and took more than 250 as hostages. joining me now is democratic congress woman beca, balance of vermont. thank you so much for being here. what's your reaction to those comments? >> we'll of course it's absolutely outrageous, but what we've seen from donald trump is, as he's gotten older, as he's aging, he's become a highly distilled version of themselves he is vengeful. he's vindictive. he is ultimately incredibly insecure and he projects. and so as a
9:43 am
former middle school teacher, i can tell you what it looks like when someone is acting from a place of insecurity with no impulse control he is trying to call people disloyal because he himself is incredibly disloyal to the people around him. >> i want to continue to put this in context. i just did giving people a sense of what these kinds of statements have been used for? indifferent variations, in different forums in the past. but let's look at what's happening. of course right now in the united states of america, since the attack on october 7, in israel, anti-semitic incidents our already spiking according to the anti-defamation league, the incidents in the us rose 361% in the three months after october 7, compared to the same period the year before congresswoman, you are the daughter of a holocaust survivor. it's personal, but it's personal for certain, for all jews, i think how do i know
9:44 am
that you've studied this as well? how do people who are predisposed to hating jews? perceive and take comments like what we just heard from donald trump. oh, it just plays into the narrative that they've heard subliminally and overtly their entire lives. so the trope of the jew that can't be trusted, the disloyal jew has been with us for hundreds of years so when he does this, again normalizes it for everyone. it says, see, a former president is even speaking this. so there must be some kernel of truth in it. and ultimately, we know that he is lashing out at american jewelry because they know they can see through him 70% of american jews voted for biden in 2020. that is ultimately what this is about. >> and what he sees politically speaking, yes, is the potential given the discord in the democratic party about how

israel is prosecuting it's retaliation against hamas and drive a wedge. >> absolutely he wants to drive a wedge >> it >> putting >> aside the very important contexts and calling it for what it is, what does antisymmetric just on the robb politics? is there a wedge to be driven? >> i don't >> think there is. i don't think there is because ultimately, people can see through this. i do believe that >> and look, >> why is this happening right now? this is what i've been thinking about. why is it happening now? because he's had a terrible week because he can't secure a bond and his business is being shown for what it is a fraud, and he's gone to 30 different bond companies to ask for money. they've all said no, he's feeling like a loser. so when he feels like a loser, this is what he do. this is what he does. he lashes out. >> you were the first jewish lawmaker to call for a ceasefire. that was several months ago the war is still

call now vegas >> the story of sensitive. sunday on cnn nebraska is an exactly a battleground state, but today, second gentleman, doug emhoff, is campaigning for the democratic >> ticket in omaha. why omaha? well, it's much more than somewhere in middle america. is that counting crows once sang the election results, there could very well determine who wins the presidency in november. cnn's harry enten joins me now from the magic wall. okay >> have at it explain to our viewers the electoral math here, harry. >> all right. have at it, there's nothing more. i love that. explain the electoral map. all right let's just assume that we're going to assign the winner in 20 24 to the winter, who won in 2020? what we see as biden with 303 electoral votes, donald trump at 235, you'll notice in
9:53 am
nebraska there's a little light blue why is that? because nebraska like man are the only two states in the nation who given electoral votes to the winner of each congressional district one of those congressional districts is right in around omaha and joe biden one that district last time around. now, what happens if we start giving donald trump some states where he's leading in right now. so let's give them the state of georgia. let's give him the state of arizona. let's give him the state of nevada all of a sudden look at us 270 electoral votes to challenge and 68 joe biden barely wins on the strength of carrying nebraska second congressional district. now if we zoom in and all of a sudden we give that district to donald trump. it's a 269 to 269 times. so that's a big reason why joe biden's there. but that's not the only map where we can see how nebraska second congressional district could make a difference. how about we go back? we're going to give joe joe biden back nevada. we're going to give them back arizona and we're going to give them back georgia. but let's say then we take away
9:54 am
pennsylvania and we take away michigan. what do we get here? a 269.2, 69 thai went to brassicas second congressional district. the fact that biden carried it making it a tie. so nebraska second congressional district although quite small, only one electoral vote, could in fact make a big difference in this election. >> absolutely incredible. so many different options that lead to that. so given how important that district is, tell us more about the makeup of that swing district. >> yeah. what's going on in nebraska? second congressional district. so let's take a look at some recent results. all right, as we pop out here, what do we say? well, we see and it's very much of a swing district. look at this. don bacon, the republican representative, won it by three points in 2022, but joe biden carried it under the current lines by six it's point and then back in 2016, donald trump barely carried the district by two percentage points. so it goes back and forth. the question is, why does it go back and forth while y is
9:55 am
nebraska second congressional districts so close. so let's make this big for you and we're going to bring it down here. well republicans still hold a party registration edge of about three points in the second congressional district, but it's also a very well educated district 40% of adults in the district have a college degree. that puts it in the top quarter of all districts with a college degree. and of course, if you're following anything about politics, you know that elections have been increasingly tied to education levels with more educated districts going more democratic over the last few years, >> okay, so let's look at one other scenario let's go back to that blue wall. biden wins michigan, pennsylvania, and wisconsin keeps the blue wall up as it was last election, now, trump takes, nevada takes arizona, takes georgia, three states. he did not take last time around at omaha electoral vote it also goes to trump. it's still tied >> that is correct. so it is still tied in that particular instance. and watch what happens in this scenario that to me is what's so interesting.
9:56 am
well, the house gets to choose who the president is, but it's not each member of the house. each state delegation getting one vote right now, republic what can hold an edge and delegation's the other thing to note is that the senate, in fact, we'll pick the vice president. and of course, it's the new congress, not the current one that will ultimately choose this. just another thing in this wacky and wild world that the political world we live in dana okay, harry, as always, thanks for breaking it all down. really, really interesting. thank you so much for joining inside politics today. cnn news central starts after every leaks, lives, cia secrets, vowel replace, salary, plane, broward play him. >> i was undercover. so when you respond yeah. >> did someone at the white house blow the cover of a cia operative after her husband criticize the run-up to the war, where are the weapons of mass distraction exact? >> this is the rear scandal that really mattered. >> lives were at stake >> yes. my children. this is >> horrifying, united states of
