Apple II Forever

Today they're called "mac heads", but way back in the 1980's, Apple users were in love with the Apple II. Despite the introduction of the Mac in 1984, the Apple II continued to have its devoted fans. This program looks at the Apple II culture during the early Mac era. Included are the Apple IIc+, the Apple II-GS, and a rare Apple I. Guests include John Sculley and Gary Kildall. Software demonstrations are of Math Blaster, Paintworks Gold, and Microsoft Bookshelf. Also a look at the newest Macintosh at the time, the Mac IIx. Originally broadcast in 1988.

Subject: The Woz is my hero
Take a trip back to the days of the Apple II, Steve Wozniak's gift to the world. This is one of the computers that started the entire PC industry and totally transformed large and small business and home computing to what we know today. The Woz is pure genius. Little did he know at the time, but the entire world would be forever changed by the PC he designed described as the "computer I wanted for myself". The way we do business and communicate with each other in this electronic world would have been completely different today if it wasn't for the Apple II.
